She said that she applied her regular daily blush. Unfortunately, I don't have the specific details on the brand or shade she used, so it might not be very informative. I think experimenting with your favourite blush could be a great way to start.
She does make some on-demand for word-of-mouth customers just so that she can buy more yarn. My wife is meticulous when it comes to her crochet and it would take her around 10 days for each doll. (My heart always skipped a beat when she took it all apart to start again just for a tiny error 😂). So it's not a scalable business.
However, I am exploring Etsy and hopefully will set up one soon. If you are interested, I'll DM you when the Etsy shop is live. ✨The sub's rules seem to ban self-promoting or sale posts so I'll keep this post only for sharing products.

I'm obsessed! I was getting bored with crochet and I'm so excited to start one of these dolls. I immediately went to the Etsy site, downloaded the pattern, ordered the yarn and accessories that go with the doll and I've started sewing a tiny little scarf with some yarn I already had. Thank you for sharing your wife's wonderful work and these incredibly detailed dolls.

Are these difficult to make? I am an experienced crocheter, but have never attempted dolls or toys and I would love to make things like this, but for some reason, I think these must be really difficult.
My wife had some experience with stuffed animals before the dolls. The internal wires skeleton is also new. However, I believe the most difficult thing is how to make the face look cute/realistic which is not accomplished simply by following the chart.
