There’s an achievement for Poland where, after (I think) getting the Habsburgs in charge, you conquer the Holy Land. Maps of attempted runs can and will be cancerous

I do miss the Italian lands of Lombardy and Veneto

Great, I do a run right now trying it with the Habsburgs starting in Aargau for role play. So far I‘m king of Lotharingia, Burgundy, Sovoy and Bavaria as well as Emperor of the HRE, but not (yet) Austria and Hungary 🥲

It is not a empire yet it’s a custom kingdom but my goal is to get to the Holy Roman Empire

No this was a custom dynasty called the Habsburg since they didn’t exist in 867 and 1066 is harder to make the Austrian empire

The Abbasid Empire surviving for another 180 years is honestly impressive too. They usually fail in the 10th century.

It’s probably because since I declared war in them, it was a lot easier to manage. I took like half the empire.
