I remember this thing giving me a lot of trouble back the day. Same with the Scorpion and Seymour Flux.

Moonshine2_2

It being allowed to cast curaga and haste on itself really felt like I was fighting an unfair fight

Dvanpat

Dispel!

Swimming_Schedule_49

This guy was definitely a hard stop for most along with the airship dragon right and yunalesca

childlessmilff

Use Threaten repeatedly and this fight is a piece of cake!

EdgarAllanZero

Yeah, the 1st time he kicked my ass. The 2nd time I destroyed him

Balthierlives

I have Tidus with the stunning steel so he always go first, switch him out so Yuna can summon a weaker Aeon to block against its first attack, then dismiss it. I have khimari cast reflect in him, then use a silver/golden pendulum to inflict slow. Wakka also blinds him. Then I haste my whole party (and the boss helps by reflecting haste onto me) and then just tear him apart. Banishing blade is always a good idea. Overkill him with a summon for more AP and item drops.

Maururu255

Chaos Grenade mix from Rikku (Grenade + any purple sphere), cast Reflect on Him, use a Silver Hourglass. Profit.

Griffffith

Spectral keeper is the the first difficult boss

Now that you are past it here’s how you cheese this fight: - Cast reflect on him - Throw a silver hourglass at it (inflicts slow) Sanctuary Keeper is programmed to cast haste on himself after every action if he is slowed, so he will caste haste which will reflect on to a member of your party and he will stay slowed. After that you can hit him with a bunch of other statuses via items (poison, darkness). Also all 4 breaks. With this setup you can usually kill him before the second photon wings. If you don’t have any silver hourglasses you can use a slowtouch/slowstrike weapon or cast reflect on of your characters and bounce it off, just make sure you swap out the reflected character or dispel it immediately after before the boss gets a turn.
