If you've finished the brotherhood quest The Best Defence, then the basement of fort atlas is an instanced location with lots of mole miners, it's my go-to for mole miner challenges unless A Real Blast pops up in welch or something. There's also quite a lot of brain fungus down there too (with the help of green thumb I was able to complete that challenge in one visit).
Just be warned that Atlas’s basement is a no stealth zone even after finishing the quest down there.
Also, green thumb doesn’t help with harvesting challenges since it’s about the number of times you click on the resource.
Good point about the no stealth, I usually don't bother stealthing because mole miners aren't too dangerous, so I straight up forgot.
It depends on the word used in the challenge, for "collect" brain fungus I'm pretty sure (from tracking the challenge one time to check) that green thumb does help, it's "harvest" challenges that it doesn't.
I’d have to check on the brain fungus challenge, but you’re correct on the wording (though the wood challenge is a collect challenge that’s actually a harvest challenge).
Green thumb is working for picking up brain fungus challenge, I went into the Wendigo Cave and didn't have to go very far. Nice that seems to work on that. I'll check on corn and tatos next challenge.
My camp is basically on top of a fire pit with 8 teddy bears in. The last one I thought I know where that is there’s one on the sofa with Ward. Nope gone
So I then had to wake the kid up that’s in one of the lodges at Foundation just so I could steal his teddy bear. This games harsh lol
I ended up going to the Pitt and running through “Most Dangerous Game” there is quite a few to be found around the Showman’s pier.
Edit: Atlantic City not the Pitt. I don’t know why I have the Pitt on my mind. I hate that place. 😆
Edit, of edit: and it is “The Most Sensational Game” not “Most Dangerous Game “ that is what I get for posting when I am at work and half asleep!
Can you still get into the pier? I usually run Dangerous game once a day anyway.
Edit: I was today years old when I found out that you can actually access the pier without running the expedition. However, all the Teddy bears were missing. So I had to run the expedition anyway.
Big Bend Tunnel is my preferred place. There's a few caverns that you can access from gaps in the walls in the western end of the tunnel where they spawn. And, of course, there's the mining tunnels in the middle section. It won't have a full thirty mole miners, but if you server hop or join either Breach and Clear or Lode Baring, then you should be able to get it pretty quickly.
Plus there are dogs, brain fungus and if you start riding shotgun - blood eagles.
That place helps me complete 2-3 dailies/weeklies in one go sometimes, I love it!

Tyler County Fairgrounds usually enough there to complete the challenge.
That is the first place I go, but they are always gone when there is a daily collecting them.
One word: Bunkers If you go to the bunkers in the swamp where all those Free State people lived in have lots of teddy bears.

I got lucky, the enclave event in welch came up and shortly afterwards the tunnel of love, easy W for a change 😂
I never had the problem before...Monongah, Welch...Breach and Clear or A Real Blast. But maybe it was many people doing their stuff quickly.
Doing moleminer events are your best bet. I launched a nuke on the Titan last night and did everyone on the server a favour.
Blackwater Mine has a ton of them. Kill em all and one server hop easily gets you to 30.

Just go to Monahagan mine. Kill the 3 that are always out front. Server hop 10 times. 30 mole miners done.
