[Quick, go back to your thread about people licking feet - that got a great reception :D](https://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/1djj007/star_wars_outlaws/)
I've been playing Princess Peach: Showtime with my kids. I'm impressed by how they managed to get so much variety even though you only use 2 action buttons. They really did a great job designing the environments, characters and powers so that it doesn't get boring and even challenging sometimes (at least for the kids).
Baldur's Gate 2. An Archer with with Jaheira, Valygar, Anomen, Jan and Edwin. Dragging things out for Anomen to get summoned for his test, then off to Spellhold.
Started it yesterday as well since I never played it back in the day. Its gonna be long ride since I read that it has a lot more content compared to BG1.
I'm not really playing anything special atm. I've been grinding away at Guilty Gear Strive(which seems to be my main game atm) but other than that I've been playing Dune Spice wars and Rabbit and Steel.
Dune spice wars is an rts set in the world of Dune(duh). The easiest way to think about it is civilization but in real time instead of turns. You play as one of the six houses(7 if you got dlc),collect spice in order to pay your taxes, engage in politics(which is very promient element in the game, you get to use your influence to pass certain policies that can affect every player or just select ones and you also fight for high governmental offices to gain even more advantage), you spy on other players and of course you fight battles. The game is overwhelming at first but games of this type tend to be this way. Other than that game is very fun, i've been tracking it since its early days and having a ton of fun.
Rabbit and Steel is a rouguelike but themed after MMORPGs. Its basically a boss rush where you choose one of the several classes each with their own mechanics and fight bosses not unlike raids in something like WoW or Final Fantasy. The game is very addicting and as a fan of MMO's its been great fun, the game looks and sounds bit basic but the gameplay is so good it can get away with it. It also has coop so you can have true raid experience if you bring friends.
Still wakes the deep has caught my attention. Looking into buying it today. Just the fact that it has a unique setting of an oil rig excites me. And that it's a horror, so there really is no escape. I very excited to hop into that
Got some Lovecraftian indie horror games on that Lovecraft steam sale a while ago. The Land of Pain and its sequel, The Alien Cube. The Alien Cube has a surprisingly decent atmosphere, and nice graphics.
Pokémon Scarlet, with a challenge - I can only use Pokémon that are the same type as the next Gym I’m going to face. I’m currently working on a Psychic team, as I try and figure out a good place to hang out and grind my level ups before approaching the seventh Gym. After that, it’ll be a switch to an Ice team, then a mix of Ground, Flying, Dragon, and Steel types for the Elite Four.
I've been playing Pokémon FireRed.
Outside of my Starter, Blastoise, I'm using a team of Pokémon that I haven't used before, which provided a bit of challenge early on, but it's going well.
I'm using Parasect, Farfetch'd, Flareon, Jynx, and Electabuzz.
I'm also playing FireRed on the Delta Emulator. I just got to the 3 islands near the end. Right now running a team of Venasaur, Primeape, Gyrados, Jolteon, Snorlax and Articuno.
Just got a notification that two of my wishlist games are on sale (Hades and Black Skylands) so I just grabbed them and that will be my day.
Tried Inscription for the first time yesterday, kept seeing hype around it, didn't like it, uninstalled.
Hardspace Shipbreaker is massively discounted too, but I don't wanna talk myself into getting 3 games in 1 day.
I'm still playing FF7 Rebirth. I haven't had much free time to play since it was released, so I'm only in chapter 4. The Chadley side-quests don't help... I've been in chapter 4 for like 20 hours doing quests, with zero story progression 😅
I'm playing "waiting for shadow of the erdtree"
But really I've been reliving my nostalgia with Project Diablo 2 and KOTOR 2. It's been very satisfying
I'm 32, first time playing Kingdom Hearts 2! Love the story beats in it and the story telling is very captivating. I tried watching it for research in passed and never made sense, something that is much more enjoyable to play!
I also found the jump very satisfying, it's simple, floaty with good controls as reference for my own projects.
Half-life for the first time
It's ok, I see how it influenced so many things I love but its got a bit of jank. Just finished *Surface Tension* which was some bullshit
I am way too deep into chat roleplaying lately. So yea, not playing any Games but rather typing up a storm in FF14 or somewhere else.
But I am interested in quite a few titles If I get the gaming itch back. Be it FF14 content, Hades 2 , Baldurs Gate 3 (2nd playthrough) , Elden Ring DLC and a few titles from Nintendo dropping September and october.
Playing Outer Worlds again with the DLCs this time. I beat it around release and enjoyed it but playing on ps5 has been a better experience. It feels more polished despite the many drops in frame rate. I like the writing and humor, it's a game with charm like the fallout games- similar looter/shooter gameplay, good visuals and atmosphere- planets feel alien. Fun leveling system. It has me tempted to try out Starfield once i beat it. I'm looking forward to Outer Worlds 2
It was fine. Like a 6-7/10. It's beautiful, and the gunplay is pretty good (albeit lacking in kick). It did a pretty good job of presenting a sense of scale to battles in the war. Pretty frustrating that there was no 3-round burst spell. Story was fine. The puzzles sucked. Characters were kind of annoying in that Marvel way.
The Gameboy Megaman games (Switch Online), ESO (finished the Dark Brotherhood questline over the weekend and moving onto more Thieves Guild stuff), CoD Black Ops 1-3, more Princess Peach Showtime (after yesterday's Zelda announcement)
Subnautica. Third attempt at it, I have already come way longer than I have before and I have spent way less time doing so. It feels like this time I am actually doing progress and I can beat the game.
I've been playing Fallout 76 for weeks now, and it's got its hooks in me. I love the series but stayed away from 76 due to the initial bad press. Booted it up after watching the show and I'm having a blast. I think this will be *my* games as a service game.
I've just discovered Northgard recently and it's been a great change of pace for me.
It's settlers-like where you build a civ and want to outmaneuver your opponents - at least that's multiplayer.
I've personally been loving the single player campaign so far. It can be challenging but in a great way. The learning curve feels so rewarding as with every level and every attempt you really get much better at managing your ressources.
And the story is nice to follow too :D
Edit: If someone wants to get into the game together, feel free to send a DM.
I continue to have small bursts of daily enjoyment with MutliVersus. The community is annoying, but the gameplay is tight and I like platform fighters. Doing daily quests keeps me entertained for a bit and then it's on to...
RoboQuest on Gamepass. Gawd-dayum this game is tight. Fast and accurate gameplay with awesome Borderlands-eque visuals and a ton of guns. Me likey dat.
I'm farting around with WrestleQuest on Switch, but I haven't quite sank my teeth in yet.
Picked up Callisto Protocol in a Humble Choice a couple of months back so I'm giving it a spin. Having a bit of distance from its release I think I enjoy it more now than I would have when it was new. It helps that I've recently powered through the Dead Space games again and just kinda want more of that for a bit.
I'll also take recommendations for similar if anyone is in the giving mood.
I’ve been carving away at Days Gone and will complete the story tonight most likely, My Hero Ultra Rumble and Dark n Darker have become my games b4 bed too.
pac man world (recently got the switch renewed version and am kinda disappointed though bc playing it with the three pixel version on ps1 just hits differently)
V Rising until Shadow of the Erdtree drops. Then new FF14 expansion after that. Hopefully that'll last me until Visions of Mana drops, because outside of anything else I'm not aware of, I have finally decimated my backlog and am nearing having no games to play.
Would you recommend V rising? I’ve got near 400 hours on Elden Ring and gone back through the fromsoft catalogue so I’ll do anything for a soulslike fix
Oh it's decidedly not a soulslike.
It's like a Diablo-esque game with survival/crafting/building features that has a strong tilt towards PvP, but you can set your server/world up for PvE co-op play.
I've enjoyed V Rising now for a while from it's early access time until the recent 1.0 release, and watching the devs update the game with solid fixes and QoL updates makes it worthwhile to keep up with, but it's **not** a soulslike.
SOE's Infantry was recently released on Steam as "FreeInfantry" and I've been playing that for a week now. Reminds me of better times - seems to be decently populated in the evenings (\~7pm EST to like 2am EST).
My friend started a minecraft realm but it was too hard late game so I had to give them my stuff and leave. Not sure if I'm coming back but I hope they have fun!!
I thought i would be stuck at Virgil in DMC 3 for ever....cause he was kicking my ass over and over again but somehow i beat him with doppelganger.
Monster Hunter:World.Damn i'm really having fun with this game.
Shin Megami Tensei 4.I have been playing with some crappy earbuds from a while...until one of them stopped working and i had to buy another one and holy shit the difference in quality is staggering.
A game that I received as a birthday gift recently was Thronefall. You build and defend your own kingdom. Really enjoyable to play, but sometimes it might get a bit nervous since different enemies and bosses are incoming, if you don't have your base prepared well from the start, and also make sure that you also have a source of money, you willn't last super long. Amazing gaming can be completed within a few hours. The developer of the game is currently adding new content as well. So, if you want, definitely give it a try
Off topic, but not having karma to post questions, so... Im sorry guys.
Which websites belongs to IGN now?
So as we know IGN has bought most of the gaming media. Is there a list to know which websites are theirs? I can still access gaming news on independent sites on my language but they are usually having a few day delay.
I've been playing a lot of neverwinter. I'm not sure why I decided to get back into it, but I don't regret it at all. It's a great game to pass the time. There are plenty of quests to grind through and a variety of dungeons, trails, and even pvp to partake in. I've always loved playing mmorpgs.
So far, the main downside is that most players are far stronger than my current character, but I'll eventually catch up.
I just started BioShock Remastered on PS5. I got the whole trilogy bundle so now I'm digging my way through it. I've also been doing all the stranger missions in Red Dead Redemption II.
I'm playing the first Kingdom Hearts. It's been a lot of fun, first time playing it although I used to watch my cousin play it as a kid so it's not completely unfamiliar.
100% I did a play through at launch and just gone back to it recently to try and get the plat. Really enjoyable, good boss battles and interesting umbral mechanic which encourages exploration.
My only gripe with it now is the sheer number of collectibles needed to get all the trophies 🥲
Game is really easy but some areas were straight up cheap in terms of difficulty. The game does not try to be hard , it tries to sell cheapness for difficulty. But to be honest it has some dope ass visuals. The armor sets and the weapons (fuck the grind for the plat) are some of the best in any fantasy rpg. I have a love/hate relationship with the game.
Still fiddling around with Fallout 4 - Starfield and STO Excited about Star Wars Outlaws in August -nod-
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Red dead redemption 2 again, maybe sea of thieves as well.
Might just have to re-download SoT and see what they've updated. Classic
Fallout 4!

I'm very excited to play SWTD I have it downloading right now. I haven't heard of Callisto project. I'm going to check that out right now
I think they meant The Callisto protocol, which might sound familiar. If not that's the actual game if you want to check it out :)
Well I haven't heard of either ahahah. I'll definitely check it out thank you.

Hollow Knight! Missed it when it first released, but man, when I finally picked it up - I was hooked
Assassins Creed Origins Missed it, but it turned out to be a very fun game
Dead space remake
Wrapping up Cyberpunk and the DLC, crying manly tears and some Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. Real og, one of the best.
The Finals season 3!
I just finished inFamous Second Son and I am so sad there's no plans for more installments. What a fun world with a ton of potential.
Just got a notification that two of my wishlist games are on sale (Hades and Black Skylands) so I just grabbed them and that will be my day. **Just Finished** * Immortals of Aveum * Pokemon X **Currently Playing** * Warframe * Path of Exile * Samurai Warriors 5 * Pokemon Moon
What did you think of Immortals?

Ah alright, thanks for the round up. It seems like an interesting game but it's a shame that most things apart from the combat are sub-par
Same as every other night pinky, try to take over the world. I mean play warframe

I've been working on my swing with Mario Golf 🤣

Fighting through Elden Ring, got Mogh down and now just working my way to Malenia. Can’t wait for the dlc.
All the Silksong hype led me back to Hollow Knight... again

Doom 64, and a PWAD that demakes Doom 64 for Doom 2. Eventually it should lead to playing a series of Doom 2 mods.
Still playing Harvest Moon: Friend of mineral town.
