I talked to the local club fitter I normally will get fitted by throughout the years. He knows the course I play regularly very well. Firm conditions. 50 is used for mostly full shots so 08F seemed to be a no brainer. Low bounce and a pretty normal leading edge to react similar to my PW. 54 went with 10S because its my most versatile club. I use it around the greens, some full swings and a lot of partial swings. S seemed to be the best grind for being very forgiving when you are manipulating shots from several lies. 58 went with an M was mainly him saying a lot of words that I didn't exactly know but I took his word for it. He knows I use my 58 primarily out of the bunker and around the greens when I don't have a ton of green to work with. But he said that the M grind will be very useful when I have those tight lies around the greens at my course. Hoping it works well for me! (and yes the tool on the vokey website is very useful if you don't have someone to help explain)
I have a low-bounce 60* that I used to hit full shots with. I say used to because more often than not I would dig that bastard into the ground and chunk the shot 25 yards (typically play on soft turf conditions). Your comment about the low-bounce 50* being a no-brainer surprised me, but I guess if you're on hard turf maybe that makes sense. The low-bounce 58* surprised me even more because you said it's your go-to out of the sand. It's my understanding that sand wedges typically have a lot of bounce, but I am clearly not an expert!
I'll be in the market for a set of wedges soon, as I'm planning to order a new set of MP 243s shortly (5-GW). I'm leaning toward the Mizuno T24s, but may also consider the Vokeys.
Can’t speak for the pros and cons of switching from the sm9s, but my sm7s had seen better days for sure. I toyed with going with the Taylormade MG4s but have always done Vokey and decided to stick with what I knew.
Skulling 20yrds past the green in style. My man.
talk me through your decision making for the grind selections
Use the tool on their website and buy whatever the tool suggests.

just did the same today! the 54 and 58. Can't wait to skull the piss out of them and almost kill my brother or nephew.
Feel like it's just begging for a 46 to complete the foursome.
I really have been thinking about doing that but for now my set PW is still doing the trick!
Now that’s how you upgrade! Beautiful finish on those this year 👌
A fine set of tools. No more chip and 2 putts for you.
I'm still debating on whether I upgrade my old SM9 wedges or wait a bit longer.

That color is sexy af, but I am afraid it will wear
Yea I was worried about that as well. But as far as I could research they aren’t supposed to do that as much as some. Guess we will see
If it is real nickel it will definetly wear
