At your level, as you mention, they probably want to have you walk through select projects in your portfolio to understand how you think, your process, how you arrived at the final design. In addition, potential bosses do this to see if the work you are presenting is something you actually designed as it's not uncommon for junior level folks to have work other than their own in their portfolio. Above and beyond them asking questions, it's an opportunity for you to ask 'them' questions. -what was it that they saw in your book that made them want to speak with you? -what projects specifically, and why? -what is the vision for the agency in 2, 5 and 10 years? Growth? Client types? More offices?
