* Cheese Flavor: Creamy, rich and savory
* Meltiness: Great melt with gooey texture
* Overall: 9/10 Great cheese, would recommend. I can’t tell if Aldi outsources their cheese from other companies or makes copy cats. I believe Roth made the same cheese recently. Great cheese for your dollar though!
For the curious:
“*A new favorite flavor of Gouda, this new classic pairing has all the flavors of your favorite dip in creamy Roth Gouda.*
*Pairs well with Fresh veggies, Pita chips, & IPAs. Perfect for Dips, Crostini, & Cheeseboards.*
*Hidden away in the Cheshire countryside, Joseph Heler's dairy farm has been making quality cheeses since 1957. This award-winning artisan supplier has become a family affair - managed by son, Mike and grandson, George. And for the past 5 years it has produced all of Aldi's Emporium Cheese.*
You’re making money off these posts somehow right? Cause I look forward to these everyday and I hope you’re getting more out of it than not Reddit upvotes.
I’ve spent almost $2k on cheeses in the past year and haven’t made a penny back. I was thinking about selling a pdf of HD photos to help continue the journey. 🤷♂️
I reckon a table book is the way to go. I'm not sure what they're called, but those nice picture books with a bit of info, are interesting and look great on a coffee or side table.
A coffee table book! That’s actually such a fantastic idea. Surely SOMEone on this sub must know how to pitch a grilled cheese coffee table book to publishers…
Aha!!! That's it! Lol not too far off 🤦♀️😂
Yup surely! I'd definitely buy it, and I'm sure many people here would too! Also, people that don't use Reddit, but would love this!
I think as table books go, it would be a hit!
If they did a patreon for 1 dollar a month and they got an exclusive video of the cheese being grilled and live reaction I imagine they could easily make 100 dollars a month in this lol.
You should definitely try to publish a coffee table book.
Regardless, I showed my girlfriend your day 300 post and explained to her what you’ve been doing (I’ve followed you for weeks but mostly kept it to myself lol) and we’ve been eating grilled cheese all weekend because of you.
I suggested in another thread publishing a cook book of all the grilled cheeses with a history and description of the cheese/farm/etc and some good pictures and some pro tips on grilled cheese making. A lot of people said they would be in to that shit and I know my wife the cheese lover would lol
You should definitely post these on YouTube and make loot off of grilled cheese lovers, I would almost redo the series over again with a pre, mid, after videos, daily drop or however you wish.
I don’t know where you are located but vacuum packing and freezing them right after hey are made could get you buyers to ship to, I would for sure buy a few
I would go as far to trade you sandwiches for cheese, I live in Sonoma county, Ca and there is a boatload out here

If you use "bread cheese" to make a grilled cheese sandwich, would the "bread cheese" replace the bread or the cheese or both? I'm silly.

ahh, bravo! personally I prefer my squeaky cheese warmed up with arctic cloudberry preserves on top. but that's a cultural thing.
They look amazing!! https://www.lifeinnorway.net/norwegian-cloudberries/

I was only *sort of* joking the last time I told you to make a Patreon. I’m sure some grilled cheese devotees would pitch in…

Better to self-publish.

Right? Ideally enough to at least cover cheese costs!

Nobody sends you free cheese at the very least? You def need to monetize in some way, I’d be more than happy to support!

Shouldve done it as a tiktok or youtube series
Still time
Start a Patreon. I would gladly kick in $2 to keep you in cheese.
Make Cook Book that is just grilled cheeses. Publish it. Sell it on a patreon too. That said. Do you use the same bread every time?
Yeah I believe the bread is sourdough!

Seriously? First! Great looking cheese!
Can you do Kraft Singlettes?
Day number 302 of not using any mayo or butter on the bread, so it comes out dry as shit.
If that’s what you think, so be it 🤷♂️
