I was searching for a signed copy, because I’ve collected a few different house of leaves books. I ended up on bookfinder… there’s books listed with the prices and the cheapest one said it was “a novel. signed first edition” and linked me to Amazon… which was surprising to me, because anytime I searched Amazon it brought up some with high prices and I’m just not willing to spend all that money on it. Well, this one was $30 plus shipping… ended up being $37.50 and the buyer seemed to be someone who just found books at thrift stores. I took a chance and ordered it… not really believing it to be signed at that price… and when it arrived I was super shocked. Sent a picture to Mark’s instagram asking if it was legit and he said it was.
You got lucky man! I did just find a Zampano copy in New Zealand. I picked that up. Might have found one of these but it's a little too much for me right now. I do want one bad though. What other copies do you have collected?
Does this mean that Johnny is the (in-universe) true author of House of Leaves?
Mark originally just signed Z and there are probably some that actually say Mark Danielewski

Don’t all copies come with Mark’s authorship page perforated, so you can remove it?
I have one of these. And also a First Edition blue 'Z'. Still looking for a First Edition purple 'PhL' one to complete the triad.
