Omg I love this so so much! The toy shelves next to the door are such a great touch
So nice to see a kids room that is actually designed for a child. All the colorless joyless nurseries bum me out.Ā
Absolutely super cute! Youāll have such a lucky little girl.Ā
Just in case, make sure you anchor that dresser and toy/bookcase to the wall. You really canāt do that soon enough.Ā
When sheās old enough to watch the movie she is going to have the coolest experience thinking it was created about her bedroom šÆ room looks amazing, 11/10. Please find a Mrs. Potato Head - theyāre madly in love, you gotta keep āem together!
You can buy all the toys commonly. I had all of them for my son around 8 years ago. The latest to be released at the time was Lotso and he really did smell like strawberries! They were around Ā£40 each except Mr & Mrs potato head were only Ā£15 each
It took a bit to get some of them. Mr Mike and Lenny were the hardest to track down and iām still on the lookout for a few of the others. Theyāre just so expensive.
My SIL did this with my nephews room and itās so cute!! They got the army men and hung them from the ceiling by their parachutes and put them on top of the door frame. I love this theme! Nicely done!
This makes my heart so happy. Not only is it adorable, but I am so glad that someone is giving their child a room that a child would LOVE. Iām so over the monotone, wanna-be IG-influencer nurseries.
You did such a great job. No one else mentioned it, but I absolutely commend you for not going for the stereotypical pink or purple for your daughter.
I love the walls.
Any time! Also, I bought the decals from Etsy. Theyāre the removable vinyl just in case a time comes where she no longer wants a Toy Story themed bedroom lol
WOAH! This is commitment to detail! The Bo Peep lamp made my jaw drop.
Does Disney sell these or have you been sourcing them on your own? Either way itās so cool!
Iām collecting all our Toy Story toys from around our house to take my oldest sons senior pictures withā¦ šš I planed to save them and make a room like this for our grandkids, I love that itās gender neutral but for children ā¤ļø my heart is bursting.
Well it's only non-typical, because for some reason Reddit is filled with gray and beige rooms. But you are hardly alone in thinking that color and design is a delight for the spirit and the eye. There are so many questions filled it on here, what's wrong with my room etc and it's always the same It's boring as hell, no color no texture white beige boring. What you have is the norm to anybody that has a little spunk in their diet. Creates children that love color and have imagination so kudos to you
Imagineā¦ watching Toy Story for the first timeā¦ and being like ā¦ thats my roomā¦ those are my toys. What a trip. This is so cool OP and going to be so fun for you and the kid when they watch the movies
For an idea: my SIL had a similar room for her son, they did a cute bit with hanging monkeys in one of the corners from the ceiling. Great pop of color!
I am absolutely obsessed. This is perfect!! You did a wonderful job. Iām currently expecting and have been browsing different themes we could do for her nursery if we wanted to go the theme route, and I am saving this for inspo, I hope you donāt mind!
So cute!! I had a friend of mine do something exactly like this years ago and you can really never go wrong with a Toy Story themed room. So cute. I hope she grows up loving that movie just as much as we all did growing upš„¹
I don't know why, but these pictures look like they were taken out of a video game or something. Like I believe the pictures are real, but for some reason, it looks slightly fake to me. The best way to describe it is realistic video game graphics.
But yeah, that's a cool room.
You did such a great job! The little details (the floor lamp, the tin toy, adventure book) are great! Your child is going to make some great memories there
I donāt know why you would say itās not typical. I mean itās not a grown-up theme or anything dramatic itās adorable for a babies bedroom! Very nice work super cute
I have to ask, what is driving this sudden surge in "Toy Story" theme for little kids?
My sister threw an elaborate Toy Story themed birthday for my toddler nephew AND did a Toy Story themed photo shoot with him. My sister in law is buying all these toy story toys for her baby and is always super bummed when he doesn't want to play with them. And now this!
It's not a thing kids of that age like, because it's of course 30 years old, and Toy Story is a little advanced for babies and toddlers. Was this like a super beloved movie amongst our generation when it came out? Don't get me wrong, it's a good movie, but I don't remember loving it as a kid. Did I just miss something??
This is a genuine question and not meant to be insulting.
I would go out on a limb and say that Toy Story is one of the most beloved animated features of all time and the story still holds up to this day. What child doesnāt love the thought of their toys coming to life at night.
Of course everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I would say I know more people than not who at least owned one toy from the movie at some point in their life.
Be sure to do something about the cord of that floor lamp when she becomes mobile. Also take the stuffed animals and blankets out of the crib when she's in there.
This is a very fun and lovely room design! I donāt want to be a buzzkill about it, but the blankets and stuffed animals will be removed from the crib when the baby is in it, right? I worry about SIDS a lot
This is very cute, and I donāt want to be discouraging, but I do see some potential problems. I assume you will take ALL toys out of the crib, as anything in the crib - including blankets- can be a hazard and contribute to SIDS. There are also a lot of toys on the shelves that are for much older children and can be choking hazards, including pieces that can be pulled off the larger toy. I assume that when the baby can reach and grab, and starts crawling, that they will be temporarily boxed up until theyāre at least three. Also, there are toys on the wall shelves that are heavy enough that if they fall off the shelves they can injure a toddler. Obviously the bookshelf needs to be tightly tethered to the wall. Again, itās beautiful, but it is unusual to see a nursery for a baby have so many toys for a much older child.
Very cute but Iām assuming you already had all this stuff? What are you going to do if she doesnāt like any of that stuff and just wants dinosaurs and everything purple?
Isn't this the case with anyone who designs anything for a newborn room? Even with the most neutral room ever, you'd still have that argument. Newborn runs are for the parents to enjoy, the kids don't care.
The lamp looks just like the Pixar lampš
Ha ha. It does. Thanks for pointing that out. Nice touch OP.
Fun thing my little girls and I do every time we watch a Pixar movie is we hide under the blankets right before that lamp looks over to the screen!
Thatās adorable!
Came here to say this.
Omg I love this so so much! The toy shelves next to the door are such a great touch So nice to see a kids room that is actually designed for a child. All the colorless joyless nurseries bum me out.Ā
Sad beige rooms for sad beige children
This is soooo adorable! I wish I had thought of Toy Story when designing my boyās room
This made me smile, very cute!
Absolutely super cute! Youāll have such a lucky little girl.Ā Just in case, make sure you anchor that dresser and toy/bookcase to the wall. You really canāt do that soon enough.Ā
Definitely
Cutest and most original nursery design Iāve seen in a while! I love it!
Thank you!!!
Omg youāre Andyās mom
When sheās old enough to watch the movie she is going to have the coolest experience thinking it was created about her bedroom šÆ room looks amazing, 11/10. Please find a Mrs. Potato Head - theyāre madly in love, you gotta keep āem together!
Wow - this is incredible! It looks just like Andyās room. How did you find all the toy replicas?
You can buy all the toys commonly. I had all of them for my son around 8 years ago. The latest to be released at the time was Lotso and he really did smell like strawberries! They were around Ā£40 each except Mr & Mrs potato head were only Ā£15 each
It took a bit to get some of them. Mr Mike and Lenny were the hardest to track down and iām still on the lookout for a few of the others. Theyāre just so expensive.
Itās perfect!!
I read the blocks like 5 times, thinking āthey named their kid Slodie?ā before realizing the blocks donāt *need* to spell a name.
It seems to be Elodie, the piggybank says Elodie as well
You are correct! Her name is Elodie, which I had the voice actor for Hamm personalize it to her when I met him back in November.
I literally just finished googling John Ratzenbergers' autograph to figure out if that was the case. Mad props to you man, that nursery is rad.
Wow you are a big fan! Haha or do you also work in the industry? Beautiful room! So cute and fun!š„°
Super cool! I love the room and itās a very cute name, sheās a lucky girl :)
That makes so much more sense! Iāve never heard that name before and itās very cute.
Holy moly that is AWESOME!!!!
Love it! š
OMG!!! I love it so much!!! I want another kid just to recreate this š¤£š¤£ Well done ā„ļø
Her room is very cute, but I bet, not as cute as she is!
Itās perfect . Love it ! Good job šš¼
My SIL did this with my nephews room and itās so cute!! They got the army men and hung them from the ceiling by their parachutes and put them on top of the door frame. I love this theme! Nicely done!
I'm. Impressed
Love this!
I love all the details š even the Pixar lamp āØ Did someone make the blanket hanging on the crib? So sweet
Yes!! My aunt made it for her. She was taking Bo Peeps colors in mind when making it.
You should write Elodie on the same boot that says Andy on the woody doll or on Jesseās doll
You even have Tin Toy!!!
Doug! š„¹
This makes my heart so happy. Not only is it adorable, but I am so glad that someone is giving their child a room that a child would LOVE. Iām so over the monotone, wanna-be IG-influencer nurseries.
Looks fantastic. Makes me think the toys are having fun at night!! The walls are peaceful.
Lovely suggest you add in much more storage for clothes and toys š§ø
No. Babies don't need that much stuff and there's a closet.
The starred ball is a nice touch hahahah
Perfection!
You nailed it! I was scrolling and just thought, oh, that room looks like the one in Toy Story š and then saw your title.
DUG!!
So cute!!
Omg Doug in the crib!! Love it! So cute!
This is GREAT! Is Wheezy hidden in dust in the top shelf?
I wish! Heās one that iām waiting to find a bit cheaper. Heās like $200
You did such a great job. No one else mentioned it, but I absolutely commend you for not going for the stereotypical pink or purple for your daughter. I love the walls.
Thank you! At first I did second guess what I was doing but then thought about how itās literally the sky lol
You inspired us to do the same for ou kid! I was wondering if you'd be OK sharing the blue painting pantone?
Of course!! It was Grandmas Sweater 787 by Benjamin Moore
Thank you very much ā¤ļø
Any time! Also, I bought the decals from Etsy. Theyāre the removable vinyl just in case a time comes where she no longer wants a Toy Story themed bedroom lol
Oh they're decals! I thought it was done by hand with a stencil. That's even better, I'll look for it :)
I certainly do not have the patience for that lol
This kid is going to freak out when he sees his room in a movie. Lol. Great job.
She *
Fun hack! Once youāre done with the changing table cut it in half and you have two small sensory tables
This is adorable!!! I love it
Very cute.
Lovely! :)
So cute!
The Pixar lamp!! Awesome touch!
This is so cute!
I love it. I saved all of our Toy Story items.
Aw, this is adorable!!
š©µš©µš©µso cute!
This is so cute and cheery. My boys wouldāve preferred this to their vintage Winnie the Pooh nursery!
Also - do I see a huge watch hanging on the wall by the door?? I would love to see a pic of that wall!
It is so, SO cute!
ā¤ļø
Very nice! Congrats on your baby.
This is darling! Great job
The luxo lamp is a great touch.
Oh this is adorable!!
Fantastic!!!
This is so well done! Even if you'd never seen Toy Story it's a perfect room, the flawlessly executed theme just makes it even better.
Who signed the piggy bank?
John Ratzenberger, the voice actor for Hamm!
Amazing!!
This feels so happy and joyful! This is perfect - job well done!
So cute!
WOAH! This is commitment to detail! The Bo Peep lamp made my jaw drop. Does Disney sell these or have you been sourcing them on your own? Either way itās so cool!
It feels like they just redid the movie with better graphics. This is epic!
Amazing!!
How cute ! Did you put the wallpaper yourself?
Iām collecting all our Toy Story toys from around our house to take my oldest sons senior pictures withā¦ šš I planed to save them and make a room like this for our grandkids, I love that itās gender neutral but for children ā¤ļø my heart is bursting.
Whoa! I wanted this as a kid! Good job!!
Omg it turned out so good! š
Oh my god this looks so great! We did Winnie the Pooh, itās so fun to do very bright, kiddish themes! All the color!!
This is so cute š
10/10, top marks, no room for improvement.
Very cute.
Love it!
Is the babyās name Andy?
Um I love this and might just steal this ideaā¦ well done!

Those blinds are gonna be trashed
Absurdly cute
Sheās gonna lose her mind when she gets old enough to watch the movie and sees her room on it

This is so stinking cute!! So nice to see parents decorating for kids, not whatever beige or white thing they saw on pinterest.
Thatās so cute
This is amazing, I love it!
I love everything that doesn't look like instragram pinterest beige boring shit. Good job
That's awesome! Amazing job! Pixar approved for sure š
Wow!
Right in my 90ās kid feels! š®āšØš
This is perfection
I.love.it!
For an idea: my SIL had a similar room for her son, they did a cute bit with hanging monkeys in one of the corners from the ceiling. Great pop of color!
Everything about this makes me so happy. Perfection!
Adorable
I would literally cry if one of my sisters decorated their babyās rooms like this, this is amazing
Sheās going to grow up and watch Toy Story and think itās the coolest thing ever that all her toys have their own movie together š

So cute - I love it!
This room is so badass. You did an excellent job, guys!
So cute! Where did you find all the toys? I love it!
Oh my god. This is so wonderful. Ohh my godddddd.
I don't know why, but these pictures look like they were taken out of a video game or something. Like I believe the pictures are real, but for some reason, it looks slightly fake to me. The best way to describe it is realistic video game graphics. But yeah, that's a cool room.
This is darling!
You did such a great job! The little details (the floor lamp, the tin toy, adventure book) are great! Your child is going to make some great memories there
How my mom used to decorate my room when I was little
I love this so much!!! A room made for the kid not the parent! The lamp is just perfect. Iād be so happy to have this room.
I donāt know why you would say itās not typical. I mean itās not a grown-up theme or anything dramatic itās adorable for a babies bedroom! Very nice work super cute
Thanks! I really only meant typical for this sub.
I have to ask, what is driving this sudden surge in "Toy Story" theme for little kids? My SIL does the same thing with my niece. I think it's overly corporate and cookie cutter but whatever.
Canāt start early enough with corporate branding!
What a weirdo
Youāre the one whoās not listening to what your actual child might want/need but cringe rebuilding a corporate fantasy from 30 years ago.
It's a newborn. Calm down. This'll be good for a year or two before the kid can start adding their own personality to it
Not really tho. None of this stuff is developmentally appropriate or baby friendly.
She's a *newborn*. What's developmentally appropriate is for her to have loving parents. Which she obviously has.
Ah yes, let me ask my newborn what she wants.
This took me OUT!! Your room is adorable.
People love the corporation. It's wild. They treat their kids like a billboard, too.
Just needs a vintage toy chest
Be sure to do something about the cord of that floor lamp when she becomes mobile. Also take the stuffed animals and blankets out of the crib when she's in there.
This is a very fun and lovely room design! I donāt want to be a buzzkill about it, but the blankets and stuffed animals will be removed from the crib when the baby is in it, right? I worry about SIDS a lot

Why that super high shelf next to the door? Iāve never seen such high shelf placement.
This is so funš¤© Maybe you could work on the lighting though? And something for the windows.
Maybe they'll change it when she's not a literal potato?
Acquire some dinosaurs and a bucket of paint?
