So good besides Yannetti!! Don't do my man like that lol actually the first time I saw Yannetti, I was reminded of Chris Klein in Sweet Magnolias

Since you choose Michael Chiklis, I just want to say how the case remind me of "Shield" (best TV show ever) and I want him to be Brian Albert. I'd swap with Louis CK be Chris Albert.
I vote Andrew Scott as Alan Jackson. He would kill it-he’s such a good actor. Right personality for the part and they def look similar enough..(esp in AJ’s younger years).
The runaway bride is a dead ringer for Jen McCabe
https://preview.redd.it/xqxe7ehcqj5d1.jpeg?width=1012&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=18360cf5b161bb31db0a44e11d1a0bf932264709
Ok ok, so you realize the budget for all these people alone would be like $100M. If they did a movie, the only stars would be Karen read and attorneys maybe, the rest would be less known actors.
These are great choices! I could also see Shantel VanSanten (from For All Mankind) as Karen also.
(Reposting because I accidentally created a second account… whoopsie 🤦♀️)
OK the mother from 7th heaven should play bev. Under no circumstance should Corey Stoll be casted. He turns every role to crap. Yannetti deserves better than that!
I’d suggest Enrico Colantoni for Yanetti’s role and David Boreanaz for Jackson. I like Diane Lane over Carrie Mulligan for Karen and I find Amy Addams way too pretty and young to play Auntie Bev’s role, but I don’t have another suggestion right now. Joe Mantegna would be great as BA.
Edits:
Auntie Bev: Cybill Shepherd, Jayne Atkinson or Cherry Jones /
Lally: Kurtwood Smith or Xander Berkeley /
Other suggestions for Yanetti: Corbin Bernsen or Colm Feore (which would be my pick) /
Higgins: Bruce McGill /
Karen Read: Kim Raver
I think about her in her role of Sharp Objects and thought she’d be good. They have the same coloring as well. Again, this is a Hollywoodified version of this cast. But I’d be interested to see who you believe should play her!

Matt Damon as Alan jackson please!
The teacher from Charlie Brown that goes “Waaa waah wah wah…” when she talks should play Lally.
Love Carrie Mulligan as Karen. Two badass babes and Carrie loves rolls with important discussion topics.
Good picks for **John O'Keefe** & **Jen McCabe**, but I really do not like your picks for **David Yanetti** or **Brian Albert**. Also, while I do like **Jason Bateman**, I am not sure he should be the one to play **Lally**.
Also, 100% hands down **Rhona Mitra** as **Karen Read** !!!
Also, if you can't get **Antony Starr** for **John O'Keefe**, then I recommend **Stephen Amell** or **Aaron Paul** !!! ...Actually, now that i think about it... **Aaron Paul** could be perfect for the role of **John O'Keefe**.
Edit: Sorry, if we can't get **Rhona Mitra** as **Karen Read**, then how about **Nina Dobrev** ???
I'm sorry for this and I hate to rain on the parade here, but to me this post seems incredibly callous and disrespectful.
This isn't a movie, it's not fiction, someone really died here and, from what it appears, another person's life has been ruined by a shit investigation (to say the least). None of this should be entertaining. It's our duty as fellow humans to pay attention and demand justice for the families, seek truth and accountability.
How would the families of O'Keefe and Read feel, seeing this post?
I promise you I’m not going about this without that thought. There’s many true crime movies and tv shows based on real horrific events. I’m just thinking about the casting of the film that will hopefully portray this story in the best way. I imagine the screenplay will really make John’s story the center of the film. Which is something he really hasn’t had this entire trial.
Ya lost me at Amy Addams as auntie bev lol
Me too, Amy Schumer, maybe.
hear me out, catherine o’hara
Ok YES! Now that would be good casting 👏🏼
Merrill Streep as Bev!
Turtleboy should be heavily involved
Yes, but he shouldn’t play himself. You need a really solid actor for this role. Casey Affleck maybe.
Chris Evans as Turtleboy, Casey Affleck should direct and produce no one does Boston movies like him
Naaaa.... Turtleboy should play himself. PERIOD!
LOLLL!
Give Peyton Manning his first real role as Turtleboy
[удалено]
These two and Toni Collette were amazing suggestions.
This is great casting! Everyone but Amy as Bev. I think Amy Schumer as Bev would be perfect
Omg Amy Schumer would be spot on
Melissa Peterson that played Barbara Jean in reba would be a good judge.
She's too pretty to play Aunt Bev, I think.
Not only is this absolutely perfect, but I'm realizing I NEED Toni Collette to play Julie Albert. That is a guaranteed Oscar nom.
RIGHT?!!
This is great 😂 Can Kevin James be one of those inept Canton cops? Maybe Red Solo Cop?
Oh absolutely!!!
Yessss but oh Diane Lane's accent was so bad in The Perfect Storm !
Matt Damon as Lally, Ben Affleck as Matt McAbe, Bill Burr as Chris Albert
Bill Burr!!! 🤣🤣 100%
10/10 would watch this movie 🍿
The real thing is more fake than a movie
Omg thank you haha. I worked so hard on it, I felt kinda silly but also super proud?? 💀
Gotta have Mark Walberg, Ben Affleck, Matt Dillon…
I purposely did NOT pick them 😂. I’m a Masshole and it’s really annoying to see them all in every damn Mass based movie lol. It’s predictable.
Damon not Dillon
I think Matt Dillon could play one of the dumb cops. He’s really funny in There’s something about Mary as a PI.
Yes!
Jeremy Renner as Bukhenik
I ALMOST added him for Aiden. I def think he’d be amazing as Bukenik. I couldn’t find an actor with his jawline and he DEF has it.
Also Rob as Matt McCabe would be hilarious. He'll need to cultivate mass for that role
It’s the diabitis.
These are great!!!
So good besides Yannetti!! Don't do my man like that lol actually the first time I saw Yannetti, I was reminded of Chris Klein in Sweet Magnolias https://preview.redd.it/8wlbcikz6h5d1.jpeg?width=611&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=646e278f190b8583a3ef45458d6689b250426db1
That’s great. And I can see and hear Bateman doing “what if anything” “who if anything” perfectly.
Thank you for seeing my vision 😂
The Proctor photo is perfect
😇
Since you choose Michael Chiklis, I just want to say how the case remind me of "Shield" (best TV show ever) and I want him to be Brian Albert. I'd swap with Louis CK be Chris Albert.
I was LITERALLY GONNA DO THAT and didn’t!

In this photo I would go with Ben Bailey over Chiklis
Omg Ben Bailey for Yanetti 😲
I vote Andrew Scott as Alan Jackson. He would kill it-he’s such a good actor. Right personality for the part and they def look similar enough..(esp in AJ’s younger years).
So many great picks! I beg of you to try again with Yanetti and find a handsome man 🙏
Yanetti is already an Eloquent, Charismatic, Handsome man... ...He could play himself :P
Jennifer Aniston and Chris Pratt
The runaway bride is a dead ringer for Jen McCabe https://preview.redd.it/xqxe7ehcqj5d1.jpeg?width=1012&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=18360cf5b161bb31db0a44e11d1a0bf932264709
Ew it’s the eyes!
Oh wow it’s been a long ass time since I thought of her lol
Those eyes are nightmare fuel. Lol
SNLs' "Coneheads" playing the part of all the bald-headed characters!
Anyone from New Kids on the Block that could work for anyone above? Oorrr Mark Walhburg??? They already have the accents down!!
It really is going to be all about the accents. Hand down
It’s so funny bc I’m from MA and I don’t even hear the accents unless it’s a very exaggerated word haha so I wouldn’t have even thought of that
Ok ok, so you realize the budget for all these people alone would be like $100M. If they did a movie, the only stars would be Karen read and attorneys maybe, the rest would be less known actors.
My husband said this exact same thing. Why are you killing my dreams?!!! Scorsese is directing. We got big money 💰
Nicely done
Holy hell Aiden playing himself!! Love it
Flawless.
I disagree. Corey Stoll was great in House of Cards!
This is so good and I love the PowerPoint presentation. Love.
Id like John Malkovich as Brian Albert.
This is also one I struggled back and forth with!!! But he’s a little older than BA.
I like Jessica Gunning from Baby Reindeer for Julie Nagle.
Julie is 19? Or 20? It was hard to find a younger actress with her look. I love Jessica Gunning though!!!
Julie is 25…
Oh ok! I couldn’t find her exact age online only old hockey photos with her age then.
38
Oh holy shit. Learn something new every day!
I love Enrico for that! Cybill is a great suggestion. Holy shit, Colm is PERFECT! I knew there was an actor I couldn’t place for him!!
Yeah, Colm Feore is one of my favorite male actors (Canadian and bilingual, BTW) and he would be OUTSTANDING as Yanetti.
Dean Norris (Hank Schrader from Breaking Bad) as Brian Albert. Jeremy Strong (Kendall Roy from Succession) as Tristin Morris.
Homelander as Saint John of Bahston...."I'll allow it".
Chris Meloni actually looks like a bigger Yannetti.
Joey Fatone as Brian Higgins
I love how you use Diane Lane but say age may be an issue but then use Amy Addams for Aunt Bev lol. Looks solid tho
Okay okay… you’ve got me there. Haha
Aunt Bev = Mom from Family Ties Meredith Baxter Edit: JLo for KR. They kinda give off the same energy: mean.
Why would Amy Adams be judge Bev!
I think about her in her role of Sharp Objects and thought she’d be good. They have the same coloring as well. Again, this is a Hollywoodified version of this cast. But I’d be interested to see who you believe should play her! https://preview.redd.it/zz35lc5o4k5d1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a0e6d3034b0e559e420622b4ba3a58858903ee6b
I just feel like she’s so young but I do see that and she was AWESOME in sharp objects.
I really love this! I would pick Catherine O'Hara for Auntie Bev. But then it would be a comedy.
Fuck yes Tony Goodwin as Alan Jackson.
I was particularly proud of that one.
❤️ I have been in love with him since he was president Fitz in Scandal. He would be PERFECT for the Jackson role
Sameeeee!
https://preview.redd.it/5b85q594sl5d1.jpeg?width=578&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=57f322ee36b9717b1a418a55202dfc41a22bf640 Matt Damon as Alan jackson please!
diane Lane is 59
Get someone bitchy for Jen McCabe.
I think for Karen, Jennifer Garner would be perfect
The teacher from Charlie Brown that goes “Waaa waah wah wah…” when she talks should play Lally. Love Carrie Mulligan as Karen. Two badass babes and Carrie loves rolls with important discussion topics.
Jen McCabe and Colin Albert is spot on.
https://preview.redd.it/dth796o97v5d1.jpeg?width=1137&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5961b026efd2ec34c82475e5a293ec39abbf2dcf Lauren Chohan for Jen McCabe
I think Proctor should be played by Tony Hale. (From Veep and Arrested Development)
Please don’t insult Jake G to play this officer!
You're about 20 years off for some of these actors. Amy Adams as Auntie Bev... wtf you thinking?
Susan Misner as Karen, or Emily Blunt
Ok Lenny Clark for something!
Toni Collette as Karen Read
Good picks for **John O'Keefe** & **Jen McCabe**, but I really do not like your picks for **David Yanetti** or **Brian Albert**. Also, while I do like **Jason Bateman**, I am not sure he should be the one to play **Lally**. Also, 100% hands down **Rhona Mitra** as **Karen Read** !!! AJ soprano as John okeefe
Oh I can see this!!!
Blake Lively as KR

When is Read's book "If I did it" coming out?
