Man I wish, my apartment doesn't allow patio grills and I don't know if I trust the community-provided one haha. But I'll save the recipe for when I can get my own!
I make these high protein banana muffins. Don't take up much space, don't need to be refrigerated, calorie dense and tasty.

It's nothing fancy. Just grab a 'protein packed' muffin mix. I like the [Double Dark Chocolate Muffin Mix from Kodiak Cakes](https://kodiakcakes.com/collections/baking-mixes#tag-filter=product-category=baking-mixes).
I add 2 to 3 mashed bananas, substitute the oil/butter with chunky applesauce or an extra banana, and I replace the milk with one of these [protein drinks](https://rockinprotein.com/products/products-builder/) (i poor it in a little at a time until the consistency feels right, usually about 2/3rds of the bottle). I make 2 dozen at a time usually and freeze them until I want one, pop it in the micro for 15 seconds or just let it thaw out in my backpack or something if I'm not going to eat it until later.
I always bring a handful of individually wrapped snacks like protein bars, Lance crackers etc. to munch on. For a really long day I'll also grab a sub from Wawa
Standard pack is two PB&J sandwiches, couple granola bars, bag of beef jerky, fruit snacks, and a milky way candy bar.
Plenty of water and a couple Pepsi's for drinks.
Bbq chips hit different on the water, i don't know why.
They're almost always kinda bland and worthless at home, but not once have i ever eaten a disappointing bbq chip on the water.
A big water with some electrolytes mixed in and an assortment of bars. And then...I take my first drink of water and eat my first granola bar as soon as I get back to shore because I was so into fishing I forgot to feed and hydrate myself all day!
I’ve found that getting a jug of water with some flavoring added (Mio) works wonders on hot days. Even better, add some “lite salt” (mostly potassium chloride) until you can juuuuuust barely taste it. Homemade Gatorade.
Snacks should be something that small amounts of wetness won’t affect.
Pre-sliced salami (or pepperoni), cheese sticks, pretzels, carrots, trail mix (NC's Lowe's Foods makes a good one called Bee Tree Trail), berries if you can carry them in a container.
Peanuts in shell. I love eating them, but hate eating them at home because all the shell debris gets everywhere. I get a huge bag and everyone I'm floating with snags a handful or 2 when they want to munch. One of my favorite snacks, but still a distant third to the obvious ones, smoke and booze.
I quit taking snacks because I always end up forgetting to eat. I’m generally more concerned with hydrating anyway.
That said, Chex mix, pop tarts, etc.. I’ll usually toss a protein drink in my cooler too, but quick carbs are my go to when I do take something.
Snackle box Fruits, cheese, jerky, crackers. Ill do granola and yogurt sometimes.
Some jerky goes hard on the water. Sure wish they'd make it cheaper, though.
easy to make at home if you are slightly handy in the kitchen or have a smoker/grill. Biltong is easy to make at home!
Been making this recipe for almost a year now. Really good https://www.onceuponachef.com/recipes/the-best-homemade-beef-jerky-recipe.html#tabrecipe

It only takes 1 foot of water to drown. Stay safe!!
Chef Boyardee Ravioli, and not those mini mfers, the real ones.

Jerky, wasabi almonds, beer
Those wasabi almonds are SO GOOD.
Camino gummies, jerky, water, and these peanut butter protein balls I make but they don’t take the heat too good so I have to eat them early.
