Mission Park Greenway, just gotta be wary of people hiking but I’ve always seen mountain bikers up there. Park in the parking lot on Springfield, cross the bridge and go on up!
Yeah, either ride the whole trail down to the lake or go up in the hills.

The green way is your best answer. Another good option I use which is much smaller but nice and has some options is tallus ridge/smith creek on the west side. It really bridges the gap nicely between just flat riding and serious MTB downhill. It does have some serious MTB trails too but you don't have to ride on those.
The Rail Trail, which is made of asphalt, goes from downtown to the airport.
The Greenway, which is made of gravel, goes from Mission to Rutland.
Myra, mixed surface, good for cycling, but you gave to drive up there.
The Rail Trail has the potential to extend to Vernon, but the city needs to address the missing section of the trail. |

Yep the Greenway is the answer. It's 26km of (mostly) flat biking. Accessible almost anywhere south of the highway.
mountain bikes on the greenway?

All the rail trails dude
Fairly steep hills, but Myra Bellevue has nice double track trails to ride. Check out lost lake or pink highway

KVR. You would have to drive there, but it is worth it
Quail flume trail could be a good option. Mostly flat, a few minor hills and not very busy
