Eh, I think not all of her songs were deeper. She could easily still do " Without You " and " Off To The Races " , " Sweet Serial Killer " maybe " You Can Be The Boss " might take some effort
I sing every day just because i enjoy it. I am the only audience i really need lol. As a Soprano 1 in choir all through school, I can definitely resonate with the changing of one's range. Time usually makes people's voices lower, but I noticed I'm more and more comfortable doing high notes vs lower notes. I relate to Lana in that sense. (Working on my range through Lana's music has helped me achieve deeper Alto notes, tho!) It seems like she is just more comfortable doing high notes. I read some of the replies to your comment and just wanted to throw this in the mix as well. I'm really happy to see Lana doing what she wants to 😭🙏🏻
Edit: this video shows her doing higher notes in her chest voice, which is really hard to do!, and feels so good to actually hit on-key, with the right tone, and right power level! 😍 so happy for her exploring her voice more and more, and achieving these perfect formulas to showcase her furthering progress!
She sang low for effect at the beginning of her Lana days, but she’s a soprano and not an alto so it’s probably very difficult and unnatural to do. She sounds best in her mid range and head voice in my opinion.

People will be talking trash about her singing forever. I wholeheartedly disagree. When I heard my first Lana song, it was off NFR and I was immediately hooked. Venice Bitch was that track. I still have yet to see her live in concert but that’s mainly because I don’t wanna feel out of place at one of her shows. I’m not exactly the demographic that makes up her audiences. I also hate crowds lol.
I've noticed she sounds Great when singing her newer stuff as compared to her old stuff
theory is that her newer stuff brings her more joy cause the older songs got her on auto-pilot at this point

Yeah and I've noticed that she doesn't even sing the lowest notes live, e.g. the Born to Die chorus

Yeah, she was really good, especially video games. Born to die was the weakest, but it's also the lowest. It still was good though
I mean… her newer songs have weaker production compared to her older songs which had tons of backing vocals, adlibs, etc.
All artists enjoy singing their newer material more. They dont want to be singing the same song for 15 years. Its new and exciting.
