Mosaic is a Fortune 500 company that is based in Tampa and they originally owned the land where this golf resort was built. They are one of Florida's largest landowners (hundreds of thousands of acres) and mine their land for phosphate and potash to make fertilizer. Anyone who lives near central Florida should be familiar with Mosaic and phosphate mining. Laura and Marky likely passed many, many acres of these "mountains" on their drive to this resort but she probably had her nose buried in her phone and didn't notice. I just have to say that I teach 3rd graders who are in special education and they know the difference between hills and mountains.
I bet your SE 3rd graders are way smarter than Laura. As a native Floridian, she should know those "mountains" were created by tons of sand from digging for phosphate for fertilizer. Mosaic is a Fortune 500 company that is based in Tampa and they originally owned the land where this golf resort was built. They are one of Florida's largest landowners (hundreds of thousands of acres) and mine their land for phosphate and potash to make fertilizer. Anyone who lives near central Florida should be familiar with Mosaic and phosphate mining. Laura and Marky likely passed many, many acres of these "mountains" on their drive to this resort but she probably had her nose buried in her phone and didn't notice. Laura isn't smart, she has no desire to learn new things (i.e., a trip to Italy where she was hyper-focused on lemons instead of the culture) and she lives under a rock so of course she thinks these are mountains. 🥴
I live in Florida and never heard of this resort with mountains. 🫠 I went to their website and they have live cams. Only in certain areas and it is zoomed out but I wonder if Laura knew that when she agreed to go 😂
