I know they didn’t start the renovations on time but when did they officially start? Say they started at the end of 2023, how has it taken over 6 months just for demo? They don’t even have walls yet or a roof?? How come the barn is making quicker progress than the house?
I think they filed an insurance claim/s, the claims were denied, and they are in litigation. They want a new house, but don’t want to pay for it because they will never see the return. It’s very odd to gut a house down to the studs that was built in 2003…it was used as a commercial property before they bought it, but I think she is overplaying the extent of the damage.
I just did a quick search and didn’t see a single permit pulled for their property. I’d think with the type of renovations they’re doing, permits would be required. So that’s suspicious. Now I’m thinking they’re just tearing the house apart in an effort to lower the value of the house this year to decrease their taxes for 2024 which are estimated at $42k.
Full transparency, I haven’t watched any of the renovation stories. I was just going based on what folks were saying that nothing was completed and everything is just being torn apart. Marky and his dad could be slowly knocking down walls and it doesn’t cost a thing to employ those 2. Any updates that are under construction could also be covered by insurance. I just find it odd that there are no permits.

IF these two are such designers, house flippers, etc, WHY was there no home inspection prior to buying this money pit? I would think if one was sho sho knowledgeable in real estate they would have insisted an inspection be done. I have been Saying This all along- 5 time house builder-3 time house flipper. If there’s one thing I know for Sure: Mild = Tear down . And I Love a sh*t hole- but If you remember in the concrete dungeon- I think they went through 4 contractors- and “sold it” as is without being Done to their Cracker Kitchen friends. People: clear you damn cookies- this bish is Making money on YOU for 30+ days if you don’t on Amazon, Target, Ect. You don’t have to buy through her links- if you just look and then and don’t close out- then shop for other items- Boom money in Lurches paws

All the houses they buy are lemons because they are clueless!! Their last pool which was newly built also had a crack, a brand new pool! These two clowns know nothing about home remodeling, renovations, repairs or construction they lack common sense. I also believe they are cheap and hire inexperienced people or people without proper credentials.
