From what I can tell from reading the Oklahoma SOL, you have until your 45 birthday to press charges. One thing I want to point out, though is that you said you didn’t want to hurt his future employment. I’m not sure if you said that because you depend on the money he gives you, or if it was for another reason, but this will absolutely end pretty much any chance of future employment. If money is a concern for you, you might want to get your ducks in a row first. As long as you’re positive that he’s not teaching and is posing no immediate risk to anyone, that is. The thing is that he might be perusing young victims using other avenues.
Call the police. If he still has pictures of underaged girls then that would be CP.
Give the police his laptop. Even if he deleted them, they might still be recoverable.
I’m a family law attorney. Once you file a case, you can get a temporary order for spousal maintenance and child custody. Inform the judge of the past history and your concern for your daughter.
Statute of limitations very much depends on the state. Some states have much shorter statute of limitations for these crimes, and others have moved to remove the SOL for sex crimes.

I’m very sorry this is something you have experienced, I am not a lawyer but have some experience in this field from my work. However I am also in a different country.
Get a lawyer for sure! At this point record everything and write down everything you remember from the beginning of your relationship and collect any evidence from that time. Also check the age of consent in your state. Go to the police and make a report.
If you do have access to old laptops, hard drives ect give them to the police. Also any photos you may have sent him during your time as a student.
Make sure you have some support and a plan to provide for yourself and child going forward as unfortunately this might be something that is scrutinised if CPS get involved.
Although this will be a hard thing to do, it is the right thing to do for you and child to ensure both your safety.
Please get the help and support you need.

Unfortunately, statute of limitations does apply to some SA related crimes. It really depends on the State.
