So I’m plus sized and have been active in the lolita fashion community for eleven years (oof does time fly by lol), and there are plenty of options for plus sized lolita clothes. Wearing Angelic Pretty, Baby the Stars Shine Bright, or god forbid Mary Magdalene are pretty out of range unless you get them tailored (though my partner has a 125 cm bust and can wear Angelic Pretty— it’s sheered so it’s really easy to expand though if you do need to get it taken out). My com leader is bigger than OP and buys two brand dresses to sew together and it looks fantastic. This is kinda the golden era for taobao brands which are where the real inclusive sizes come in, many already have plus size options but many also do custom sizes so you can make sure to get it perfect for you (Henrietta is my favourite brand for this). If you don’t want to go through the arduous process of trying to buy through taobao there’s great taobao sellers like Lolita Wardrobe and Lolita 42 which is essentially a shopping service that sends in your order and has a selection of lolita adjacent clothing as well as true lolita items. But yes, lolita fashion can have restrictive sizes but there are many brands that are inclusive— Glitter Tale who runs a Facebook store does fantastic custom sizes and is my go to for blouses. There’s such a fun social element to lolita fashion and there’s probably a com near you that you can usually find on Facebook— most people in lolita groups are queer and/or plus sized so you’ll be in good company if you decide to join. It’s important to study what makes a lolita coord though as there are some base elements to get down less you spend all your money on pieces that aren’t really lolita.
Anyway, sorry for ranting about lolita fashion, it’s a really great hobby if you get into it and pretty affordable if you buy your stuff second hand like I usually do on Lace Market. There’s a lolita fashion subreddit that shows off some amazing coords and has a lot of great references for different places to source plus sized items so check it out if you’re interested!
