One of the great moments of this book is when Jean-Luc and Charles meet each other, albeit through the holodeck, and the following commentary about the similarities between both men. Even better, this book came out before Patrick Stewart was cast as Prof. X, although he had been approached for the role the year prior, in 1997. I love this damn book.
Along with the revelation that the nanoprobes that Apocalypse used to turn Warren Worthington into Archangel were extremely similar to the Borg's nanoprobes.
I don't know if this was in the comic or in the book, but there's a moment where someone asks for Dr. McCoy. Bones and Beast, both Doctors named McCoy, answer. That was fun.
A Fantastic Four/Star Trek crossover would be the best in my totally biased opinion(I love both). Sue would have to knock Reed out and drag him away from all the Treknology just to get him to come home again lol
There was this, plus the two comics... one with the original series cast, one with the TNG cast (which I believe was the prequel to this novel). I had them all!

“Captain, there appears to be an enemy vessel approaching on the starboard bow”
“Put them on the view screen. This is Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the USS Enterprise. Please state your name and intentions”
“HAHAHA Foolish Jean-Luc. It is I, DOOM, AND I PLAN TO TAKE OVER YOUR VESSEL IN FULL FORCE!”
This would require Paramount and Disney to work together though with the Avengers movie having been a Paramount movie it may not been entirely that far fetched and Paramount is basically just a Star Trek streaming service anyways they may be down for it.
Patrick Stewart is on the phone with his accountant.
“So, do I get paid twice for this, since I’m both of the lead characters?”
I don't know - cover art is making me think Billy Zane.
That’s Zordon. It’s Morbin’ Time.
I had that when i was a kid. Its funny when Picard briefly meets Professor X towards the end of the book.
**A holodeck facsimile, but a very accurate one, apparently.*

Damnit, Logan, I'm a mutant doctor, not a starship doctor!
Make it so!

What from TNG-era Trek would be particularly exciting for Reed?
I’m sure he’d be pretty happy to see that “Reed Alert” has become the standard Starfleet security protocol for emergency situations.
Could they be Wong instead?
Wong meets Q, hilarity ensue!
Before they witness The Wrath of Kang
"My name is Khan, with one H, but noooot where you thiiiink it issssssss"

Kirk asking if Gladiator had just punched his ship was my favorite.
I’ve had a copy of this at my desk for like three years now! Dug it out of some boxes from a move. Got this for like $1 at goodwill forever ago!

Ahh, a classic staple of the [Jay Bauman/Mr. Plinkett wedding arc](https://youtu.be/jhoUnOxqr40?si=9nWS4QFtKeR2OK9G). ;-) *I loved him on Airwolf*.
I've read this. It was surprisingly okay.
I thought that was Zordon
This is the bald character teased in Deadpool 3's trailer. It's not Cassandra Nova, it's Shinzon, Picard's clone.

My dumbass thought that was Cassian Andor
It's a total fabrication
Not this time.
We got you.
It's fake.
We made this one up
Does Prof X meet Picard
I have this book. It’s really good.
Bob Iger is now calling up Paramount's CEO to buy the Star Trek IP.

Archangel flying around the Enterprise and Wolverine and Worf training in the holodeck was what I remember from this one. Fun cross-over.
This book was better than it had any right to be.
