As someone who’s studied forensic ridgeology, I can say that this feature is often referred to as the single palmar crease. It’s rare in caucasians (4%) and less rare in asians (13%). They used to call it the Simian Crease, but that’s fallen out of favour.
I worked with a white man who had the single palmar crease in BOTH hands. He was also a high functioning autistic person.

Apparently, this is a frequent feature for people with Down's syndrome. I don't have Down's as far as I know.
