I was at the [game at Wrigley](https://youtu.be/MKYg07TuqCk?si=8Y5XmSypYOSSRR9R) in 2003 when Choi and Kerry Wood collided on a Jason Giambi infield fly and Choi got absolutely KO’d on the 3rd base line. First and last time I ever saw an ambulance drive on to the field during a baseball game.
Fun fact about this game: this was Roger Clemens first opportunity to get to 300 career wins. He didn’t get it, Cubs won.
Holy cow that’s crazy you were at that game!!
Also, that’s gotta be one of the few random stats like that where my Cubbies weren’t the victims of it lol FUCK CLEMENS!
Milton Bradley, Jr. What a nutcase. Remember his meltdown with the Padres, that likely cost them advancing through the playoffs? He had some temper tantrums with the Cubs & others. A shame he let his mental problems hamper him, bc he was otherwise a swell player. A domestic abuser - sick.
He rented a condo in Chicago after landing with the cubs and the landlord sued him for damages. Allegedly he damaged the unit pretty badly. No surprise
Sophomore year in HS I took Spanish 1 and our teacher said we could pick a name for the class as long as it made sense. I chose Coco Crisp because at the time I loved watching the guy play. She thought I was joking until I proved that his father was of Puerto Rican descent so for a semester I was Coco Crisp
Fun fact. Frank broke my brothers thumb in 2006 with the Rangers by hitting a soft pop up right into the sun. He was 6 eating cotton candy minding his business
My coworkers once drank with him at a bar after a game in Pittsburgh with a day game on tap for the following day.
They asked him why he was out so late before a day game and his response was “I go 4-for-4, I go 0-for-4, I don’t care. I get paid.”
Hee-seop Choi

Does one really “let” their mental problems hamper them? His mental issues def got the best of him

He was my coach for a few years in the minors! Great dude

One of the best punches in a baseball fight ever, haymaker right to Jonny gomes chin
Ubaldo Jimenez
Yo the season he threw that no-no everyone talked about him like he was the second coming of Jesus himself. 😂
Didn’t he start the all star games that year for the NL? 2010, I think

Literally the same guy I thought of lol. He was a good player!
This is usually my answer too. Loved watching him play with the Rangers growing up.

Got the yips and couldn’t make a routine throw to first.
Kids would yell "Knaublauch!" every time a little league throw went wild. Brutal, lol.
