My best friend lived at the Cleo for a year and it was largely fine but they had lots of issues with car break ins, stolen packages, and I remember her mentioning that they charged for EVERYTHING they possibly could to get more money out of you. As far as the apartments themselves it always seemed great and I do think they’re the best ones available in east.
Eastside heights has awful sound leakage between apartments, Stacks on Main allows airbnbs so it’s always heinous. I lived at The Canvas for 2 years which is a VERY different kind of apartment—it was insanely cheap by Nashville standards but I’ve gotta say, it always felt super safe for whatever reason. No stolen packages or car break ins in 2 years of living there, so I’ll give them that! Your best bet in east is almost always going to a private rental just because apartment complexes are more sparse compared to other parts of town.
do not move in to the cleo. management does not care about the residents, amenities are not taken care of, the pool usually ends up getting closed for some reason or another in the middle of summer, and the package situation is less than ideal (you have to send to a separate location and cannot get packages delivered to the building).
2/10 would not recommend. location is super convenient though.
We toured the Cleo and it was fine but the apartment felt pretty dark, which made it feel cramped. Loved the salability factor but it wasn’t what we decided with.
Conversely I used to live in Eastwood Greene and it was all around pretty solid. Walking distance to a bunch of good stuff and the staff was pretty attentive
