His back is fucked and will probably be for life. Right now she’s just riding out his checks until he maybe gets one more cheap contract then can medically retire and not mess up his body for life. It’s for the better tbh. If he plays and actually fucks up his back in a civilian way he has to deal with that pain till he dies.
I know a few people with back pain and aside from constant meds they’re in constant pain everytime they move. I don’t know if being a millionaire at 30 would compensate for even that.

Dude had 3 consecutive back surgeries in the last 2.5 years along with unwillingness to even develop a mid range shot, dude is basically done . The only reason he’s in the the league right now is because he’s in last year of his contract of 40 mil.
After this I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s finished after this year. Dude is basically the Male Liz Cambage
