Is this a new property? Or an FTTP upgrade? Your post lacks details.

Yep happens all the time. Ring your provider for new date

I (badly) speed-read heading as 'NBN ... installed on ... gate'

I am yet to have any NBN techs rock up for any appoints I’ve had booked in January accross any of our clients. It’s a fucking joke right now. I literally had a job last week that required NBN to jumper the lines to the MDF. They didn’t even book an appointment, they just marked it as done, but no one can tell me which pair in the MDF is the pair with the connection.

If they haven’t sent a cancellation text or email, just be patient for a day or so they might rock up tomorrow if they have time. It’s annoying but has happened to me. The moment you call for a new date they cancel the old one. Then you’ll be waiting another month

Currently going through a similar situation. Have no Internet for 2 weeks now. Took time off work last week for an Nbn tech appointment and no one showed up. Called my ISP and they rescheduled another appointment for this Saturday. I am a shift worker so the weekend was the only convenient time for me. I said straight up to my ISP that I would like to be compensated for no Internet at my residence. They said they will work out the amount from the date I logged my issue. Just hope the Nbn tech shows up as my patience is wearing thin.

We were booked in for an upgrade last Thursday arvo. Sunny day, no issues, got 3 text messages saying "tech was on their way", last one was at 830pm... Called ISP Friday asking "what happen?" - commentary from NBN was "adverse weather prevented them from attending". I read somewhere they miss 30% of appointments, no idea if that's true but I wouldn't be surprised. I rebooked for 2 weeks later but ensured I got a morning appointment.
