Just order through Leaptel. Both use DHCP so you shouldn’t need to do a thing, it will just cut over. You may not even notice.

I did this swap earlier this week (also on HFC). Rang ABB and asked to cancel. They immediately offered a cheaper offer but still didn't go as low as Leaptel. Gave them my final date and that was that. Signed up online with Leaptel 5 mins after with the same start date - no phone calls. Done deal. Easiest thing out there. Kinda felt bad for ABB; sounds like they're losing customers in mass. Old mate threw the cheaper deal at me without any hesitation.

MachZeroEight

Never feel bad for a company lol. Especially ABB, they banned me for constantly churning every 6 months 🤣

So much for no lock in fee. Now it's a lock out penalty. Wtf.

Also it's not YOUR modem, you didn't buy it, and it doesn't belong to you. The house you are living in owns it, not you, so if you move, don't take it, that's stealing. You can do anything with the router, that is yours.

nbnhater

stuff nbn take the NTD, its yours!

edide

Name checks out.
