There's a fb group, "Queer Guide Mulinbinba" that posts events and stuff coming up. Queer and Now is another page you can follow on fb to hear about parties and other events in town.
Bernie's Bar is going to be Newcastle's only LGBTQIA+ bar but it's not open yet, could be cool to check out and meet community when it is. In the meantime lots of queers hang out at the Hamilton Station Hotel and Lass O' Gowrie.
