Probably the burwood inn. Unassuming little local pub known for very good steak.
That would be my call based on experience. Also the reviews tend to say the same thing.

Last time the question was asked here Wests leagues steak house place seemed like a popular choice. I wasn’t impressed with the $50+ steak I had, my partner enjoyed theirs though.
Well that's the standard. I doubt you will find anything better. I've had a steak in just about every establishment around with good steak reviews. MEET isn't nearly as good. Hunters Quarter is one of the best also but that's in cessnock not newcastle and very pricey.

MEET or Yakitori Bar Dont bother with any pubs. Wests lambton chophouse not bad, but hit or miss

No idea, I can’t afford it. Having said that, Aldi has nice ones if you like cooking!
Aldi steaks are extremely underrated especially comparing prices to butcher

Emerson’s at the lake at the Toronto yacht club. Formally the place was based in Lovedale hunter valley area which was always a delight to go to
Not super close but try Saddles at Mt White. Expensive but very nice.
I haven't had a decent steak anywhere I've been in Newy. The closest amazing steak would have been at The Cottage in Scone
