There are people who genuinely want to ‘bring bullying back’ in order to ‘motivate people to do/be ____’ (usually relates to fatphobia or just someone not being conventionally attractive/conforming) but this is actually an excuse to be cruel to people without any repercussions.
But the funny thing is that the same people who say these things have private/anonymous accounts or are very defensive when people belittle them. Always hypocrites.
But my question is, why? why do these people think it’s fun to bring down people’s confidence and eventually driving them to suicide? Gen Z is supposed to be the “mental health advocate generation” due to the circumstances that Gen Z grew up in. It’s just baffling to me that people can actually be this cruel. Call me soft, but I do like to think that there are still good people in the world and have actual morals.
