The blood looks great! Not too much, not too little. Only thing I'd suggest is a good dirty wash on the guns! Maybe black mixed with some brown? Or Nuln Oil mixed with Flesh Wash? Make the machinery look a bit more messy. šš
Also Iāve always found that pigment powder works better for me when Iām trying to make a āsplashā effect with liquid because you can layer colors and texture as well.
Better, now hit every rivet on the silver with some brown or black. The problem with painting one big piece the same color is it hides all the parts where joints meet.
So your silver looks like itās one big hunk of metal instead of a bunch of small pieces all put together. Think panel liner, but do it any place where two pieces meet. Like the barrels to the muzzle, and muzzle to the the body of the gun.
And paint the bullets in the actual gun a different color. Focus on making some small details show.
The way I do bare metal like that is I paint it flat grey, dry brush it blue, the dry brush it with metallic, then edge highlight with silver and white. I suck a NMM but that works for me, just keep playing with it, because itās always practice.
Yah good advice. Itās actually a few shades but they look too close indeed. Itās black on some parts and then silverā¦ need to make the contrast more obvious.
Good work, cool Ghaz!
My claws are soaked too! It was my first time attempting blood effects. I kinda went overboard, but thought it looked cool in the end.
Wagh?
no, its never enough, add more
Is there such a thing? Looks solid to me
What? -Khorne

Also just realized those are bullets on the side lol.
Maybe a little spray on the gun barrels too, like he got someone point blank range
Clean for real.
It's good for if he gets thirsty.

That looks awesome. I am terrible at colour blendsā¦
Me too
No such thing as too much blood!!!

Looks like somone popped near the tips.
Hah thanks!
I think the blood is under proportion in comparison to the size of his bad assery
agreed, I don't think it's overkill, it is a nice pop of colour and contrasts the yellow nicely!
Thanks!
