Killzone, PlayStation is crying out for a standout exclusive FPS shooter, imagine how good Guerilla could get it to look on PS5... Killzone 2 still holds up now.

Killzone is 100% needed right now. They can invest in a solid single player campaign then get the rewards of a solid online shooter too. I remember playing a demo of kilzone one from some playstation magazine back in the day and being blown away by the graphics and weight of the gameplay/guns.
The first killzone is still one of my favourite fps and I generally don't like fps. That first mission running through trenches was almost as good as MOHAA D-Day.
I remember the first time I loaded up killzone on ps3. I was blown away. It looked so good and the gameplay felt so good. I agree with you on kill zone. I however might be in the minority for resistance. I did not like that game at all.

Spamming down packs waiting for a grenade pack, made me a gambler. Hedgehog grenades, fucking incendiary grenades against a pack of grims. I really love this series.
Medic. We Didn't have WiFi back then so we had no upgrades and only 2 players so one of us always had to be Medic. That's probably why I like playing support characters even now.
Not sure if it was post credits or not, but there's a bit in the good ending after Cole dies, they take his body out on a boat I think and there's a lightning strike. So similar to the ending of LXG. It's been a long time so maybe I made that all up, not sure tbh
Give me an entirely new storyline with similar leveling structure and open world play. I don't need plot continuity I just want to play with those (and hopefully new) powers in 4k.

For as good as the Jak series still holds up, a modern remaster or reboot would be super compelling given how strong the world-building and characters already were. And how I’d love to see the gameplay concepts evolve and improve with current console power.
Motorstorm basically has the same setup as Forza Horizon and has all the makings for a Horizon competitor. Minus the whole Evolution Studios becoming part of EA thing.

They need to add either multiple characters to play with unique powers or have the next character that can harness multiple powers like in Second Son. Also bring back the good/evil mechanics. The franchises I'd like to get a modern reboot would be the Sly franchise and Jak and Daxter. Make them more open world and for the modern console.
Update: after much thought, the one series I REALLY think should come back is Army of Two. I don't see it enough and it was a staple in the ps community when online multiplayer became a thing. it would still be relevant today and be SUPER fun to play on a modern console.

Either come up with a good story reason for Delsin to be set to 3 new powers or good story / gameplay (control scheme) reason to restrict him to a reasonable amount like 6. OR and this is my personal favourite, break series tradition and have the evil ending be cannon and take a page from prototype 2 to have Delsin is the big bad. Say he took over a city of and forcibly turns people into conduits with our new protag fighting against him, you could have zeke explain that power corrupts like the promise of it did to him and how it did to Cole as kessler or the best from infamous 2. He should have seen it coming with Delsin and now he wants the Protag to make the right decision.

I recently replayed the Sly Cooper collection and honestly they still hold quite well, a simple port with an fps patch would suffice.
