If you check the DNS does it let you change it? If so, set the primary to 8.8.8.8 and the secondary to 8.8.4.4 Those are Google's public DNS servers. If you still get the message after that, it may indicate your network module is faulty.

rik182

I'd actually recommend 1.1.1.1 over 8.8.8.8. Most ISPs have direct peering with cloudflare and lot's of widespread tests have proven you get a better response time

TotallyNotJeffff

And 1.0.0.1 for the secondary!

shigogaboo

And 8008 for the calculator

rik182

Surely 58008? You want both

ProjectMain13

I’m having the same issue while playing GOT. It happens after coming out of rest mode for my PS5. What’s weird is it’s only been happening the last week or so.

bontakun

I get this constantly on Ghosts as well, I assume it’s some analytics junk that is getting blocked.

sigil_oathbreaker

Man i miss playing tsushima so much

Ryderni99a

It's time

justarandomstanley

Im playing it now for the first time and I already miss it in advance for after I finish the game.

imagine-XD

Did you go to rest mode, then turn it on, and you see this?

TheDarkLordDarkTimes

Does your router have internet? Is your system getting the correct IP and not a fake one like 169? Google dns or other IPs like 1.1.1.1 and or 9.9.9.9 works as well.

rik182

Never tried the new IPv5 1.1.1.1.1

TheDarkLordDarkTimes

Oops! I’ve been spotted!

SwiftTayTay

i use a manually set DNS, but i also actually got this message once when my ethernet cable got unplugged by accident. so if you didn't manually set the DNS, it could just be that your PS5 isn't able to automatically obtain the IP address or DNS from your router, and maybe resetting the router would fix it. if you did manually set the DNS, you may need to check and make sure it's set correctly. personally i prefer to manually set it to cloudfare's DNS [1.1.1.1](http://1.1.1.1) and [1.0.0.1](http://1.0.0.1) because it tends to be faster and more reliable than the default that automatically gets assigned by my ISP. another option is using google's, [8.8.8.8](http://8.8.8.8) and [8.8.4.4](http://8.8.4.4) but cloudfare is the fastest and most reliable IMO. by that i mean you could see a reduction in ping/latency/lag or at-least a more stable connection

AmirC18

It means the DNS server can't be used

rivieredefeu

Have you Google searched the error code?

Otherwise-Smoke-8055

Try Google’s free DNS. Someone stated it already twice I saw, so I won’t repeat but you can search for “free DNS servers”. I think the one I am using can cause issues from time to time. Might switch back to Google.

Jurassic-Park_Life

I had been getting this so I change which network I was yawing and seems better (we have to different wifis)

ImpressivePotato233

you should disable parent settings in modem or your internet distrubutor

Cwelling69

It’s your internet

The_BlazeKing

Most of these issues really ARE router/modem problems. If you understand basic networking, you'd know exactly where to start troubleshooting.

Cwelling69

Yeah happened to me before it’s not too hard to fix depends on the problem of course

king-glundun

It usually means your shitty internet ironically is being shitty

Fhoto_pan

IDK itz very difficult bro
