Classic is just a second community day for the pokemon but you only have 2 hours after the event ends to evolve them to get the community day move instead of 5 hours.
Classic as simply a comm day for a pokemon that already had one and usually can be a bonus to the standard monthly comm day.
Like Bagon was last month and Bellsprout was reg comm day.
Sandile is unlikely due to the fact it’s exclusive to eggs, if it had a comm day nobody would be hatching eggs to grind out the new shiny which would be basically Niantic shooting themselves in the foot with lost incubator sales. Darumaka would be sick tho I got a really high iv shadow one that i want to max out

Omg Yasssss! I’ve been saying this for MONTHS! I refuse to open any gifts if I have an open spot for eggs. Especially since they took out all the pokémon that had their shiny release in the last big event. Sinnoh tour I believe. So if you didn’t catch them during the event there’s no way hatch them either. 😒
It wouldn't be the first time they've given community days to shinies they could have monetized better. Look at all of the megas that got community days/hatch days before their mega was released.
So far, I haven't needed any of the shinies from mega raids because I got them from an event before the raids started, so I just get my mega energy and never do them again.
Same. I had stopped playing during the time the first one happened. I just what shinies so I can finally have a red gyrados. I've been chasing after one for years.
when was this 😭 I stopped playing for a couple of years and just got back into the game a few months ago :’) Ive been trying to get every eeveelution shiny, all I have is an umbreon, which I only have because I got a shiny eevee from research
It's not enough if you're trying to get all the Eeveelutions shinies but 3 of them are completely random if you've already used the name trick.
So many shiny Jolteon and Flareon....not one Vaporeon...
I really want to see more regional variant com days, like they did with Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew, Slowpoke and Galarian Slowpoke. Then Wooper and Paldean Wooper. It was dumb they didn't do that with Alolan Geodude and Galarian Zigzagoon and their original variants.
Give me Ponyta and Galarian Ponyta.
A Meowth community Day featuring all 3 Meowth variants.
Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix.
Farfetch'd and Galarian Farfetch'd.
A Cubone community Day where, for a limited time, certain Cubone can evolve into Alolan Cubone. Same with Koffing and Galarian Weezing.
It could be one of the next classics we get for starters. We got all of the first gen and Mudkip so far for classics, I could see them weave in torchic before getting through all the gen 2 starters.
My question is, since they seem to do the starters of one generation a year, if they will do galar next year considering they haven't even released them to begin with.
(Watch them just skip Galar entirely and next year we get Paldea starter community days)
if they dont do galar next year they will lose a lot of players. everyone has been asking for the galar pokemon for a long time and when they skipped straight to a paldean release people got mad, so imagine how theyll feel when they do a sprigatito comm day in 2025 and they still dont have even a normal sobble or whatever. people will actually quit the game over that (even more people after the avatars got a bunch of people to quit) they say they are pying attention to us so HOPEFULLY theyll be smart enough to do galar events next year
Oh I know. It's ridiculous that we've gotten the paldea starters before the galar ones. It's ridiculous that we've gotten so many paldean pokemon (I think there's 40 of them now? My count may be off but it's close I think), when the galar pokemon we have are mostly regional variants and evolutions.
I saw someone say somewhere that well the reason we have so many paldea pokemon before galar is because of the new anime!! Like ok there was also a gen 8/galar anime, so that's not an excuse as to why so much of galar was skipped.
I think the hold up with Galar is they have NFI how to do the Dynamax and not make it just a copy of Megas. They can't drop too much Galar before people start hounding for Dynamax.
Sword was the first non-GO Pokemon game I played, so I'm super keen for Galar.

There is a field research day coming this month with increased shiny odds for hoot hoot, spearow, do duo and another bird I’m forgetting..not pidgey. I wish it was pidgey.
In my area (idk if it was regional), rivals week literally is spawning hundreds of Ralts every day. Every time I open the app at home there are 10 Ralts and 3 other pokemon (and all are double catch candy).
Slakoth. I've really gotten into pvp lately and the great league is practically always up. I've realised I do better in GL than in UL so I'm trying to get good teams for GL. I still don't have a pvp vigoroth. And it's on the top of the meta, in nearly all of the best teams

I want salandit (got a 100% female) want the xl candy to level it to 50 just because. Same for Goomy.
If past community days are anything to go by we should get goomy in June or July this year! (I forget which month of the 2 usually get the dragon one off top of my head)
I think phanpy with the introduction of the paradoxes would make sense, since in scarlet and violet your first encounter with the paradox Pokémon are either great tusk or iron treads.

If the 30 or so legal shinies left for my living shinydex, u-darumaka and u-darmanitan are some of the only non-legends left. Other than Go and the gen 5 games, the only way to encounter u-darumaka is by breeding and it drives me nuts.
I would love to see a day where we can TM all the community day moves on any former community day pokemon evos. I have a few pokemon I need to take care of, but not enough to use an elite tm on them.
We have so many pokemons with community day moves now that we need more of December cday like cdays, except maybe make certain biomes spawn different pokemons.
Chikorita! Because it’s my favourite Pokémon but I’ve only caught 12 since 2016 and all of them have had crap stats 😭 I never see them! A feebas comm day would also be fun because I’d love a shiny milotic
you should have been able to get a ridiculous amount of ralts candies over the weekend. Ralts were everywhere and had double candies. by last night I had over 650 candies. produced 2 gallades and 3 gardevoirs over 2500 from it.
i know that prob no one will agree but i want them to do another eevee com day 😭 i didn’t start playing until after they did it and eevee is my favorite pokemon. im trying to get the full family of shinies but its hard 🥲

Ralts and beldum already had a commday, we could still get a classic, but probably never a normal one

Classic community days also don’t have 4 star raids for the featured pokemon, no additional special trade and no boosted XL candy chance.

I would love to see a day where we can TM all the community day moves on any former community day pokemon evos. I have a few pokemon I need to take care of, but not enough to use an elite tm on them.

We have so many pokemons with community day moves now that we need more of December cday like cdays, except maybe make certain biomes spawn different pokemons.
Ditto community day. Where it's only the disguises that ditto wears that spawn that day with it mainly being the dittos

you should have been able to get a ridiculous amount of ralts candies over the weekend. Ralts were everywhere and had double candies. by last night I had over 650 candies. produced 2 gallades and 3 gardevoirs over 2500 from it.
Jangmo-o. I wanna see Dragon Cheer added to Kommo-o's moveset as a low damage/high energy move similar to Fury Cutter or Mud Shot.

i know that prob no one will agree but i want them to do another eevee com day 😭 i didn’t start playing until after they did it and eevee is my favorite pokemon. im trying to get the full family of shinies but its hard 🥲
Meltan or Gimmighoul Impossibles aside, I'd like to see Gible and Larvesta, or Beldum rerun. Useful aside, I'd love to see Sprigattito and Eevee for the shinies. I'd do full time and more just to hoard as many as possible because I damn love those 2 cats (yeah I loved Litten's Com Day)
