Game has an issue registering old Pokemon lol. Whether like this or in the “Nearby” section in the bottom right, if you haven’t caught the Pokemon recently, it’ll say you don’t have it

I had something similar happen to me with a shelder, wasted 50 candies to figure it out 😂
I did the same thing with a torchic 💀😂
