No one can tell you what you should've done.
I would've evolved the shiny. But tbh, I haven't walked a larvesta, I mostly used rare candies.
Works hard for a year towards an end goal, about to cross the finish line when oh shiny đ
This sounds totally like me, thatâs why I donât walk for candies unless I have a shiny or perfect iv version. I would have evolved the shiny too.
People are going to hate it when the community day comes in the future and they realize all their walking was a waste. Its happened in the past and will certainly happen again. I'm waiting for the community day to evolve.

But you can still use the candies on the other. It doesnât have to be for the one you walked.
I mean, you have one larvesta more now, and you could always evolve it another time. Imo it's worth it!

you can always farm candies and evolve your buddy too and/or get best friends with the shiny too
