Not future proof. The fences will be able to break in the next build. Therefore zombies outside your base will be able to hear you due to the small perimeter and break down the fence to get you. There's also no space for a generator or farming within the fenced of area. I don't see a benefit building your base there instead of building one from scratch. The forest is nice for wood though.
