$20k for a compact AWD PHEV is a steal in my book. Too bad it’s just another FCA abomination. I personally don’t want my car to be in the shop every other month as cars are usually my life’s income.
A dealer near me has a few of them on the low with a giant $10,000 OFF!!! sticker so out of curiosity I went home and looked them up. I think they're ugly but my partner could use something newer and at a certain price point some things make sense.
I couldn't believe that thing has a starting price of $43k CAD. Nope. No thanks. Even at $10k off that's a nope from me.
Think of Stellantis like how Nissan used to act in terms of cost cutting, they’re playing a game of chicken with dealers on who will crack first between giving them away way below cost and stellantis giving major incentives that they need. That’s why they’re all stuck on the lots still because neither wants to do that
I've never seen one in person, only know one person who has ever said anything about it, and have only seen two pictures of this thing online. I'm not convinced it's a real thing.
Right? I’ve seen one, and it was the most underwhelming little thing on the road. If you’re going to name something “hornet”, it needs to look badass, and it doesn’t.
From the Dodge website:
“SAVAGE BY DESIGN
Carved with the muscular stance of a Dodge Brand vehicle and repping the iconic hood scoops of American muscle, the 2024 Dodge Hornet intimidates and is impossible to ignore. Check performance stats on customizable screens inside the teched out cabin, then grip the wheel and gear up for a driving experience like none other.”
It’s a crossover, calm down.
This is amazing, WTF. "Muscular", lol. The picture above is probably its best angle, and it's not even close to muscular there. In person it's downright frumpy.
Also, what hood scoops? The little vents you can barely see?
Oh, and the "performance stats" of a crossover SUV. I want a Porsche Sport Chrono package next.
And almost certainly a driving experience like every other ugly turd CUV out there: abysmally boring.
Probably the only reason they're still on the road... they used a VW diesel in those instead of the crap global gas 4-cyl, and that's not the kind of place where they rusted into oblivion due to road salt like most of the US.
I imagine those were fun in much the same way as the SRT4 Neons were... Zippy little turbo powertrain bolted on to a medicore platform with interior materials by Playskool
I work in the service department for a Dodge dealer. I've seen two total come in. One for LOF/ State Inspection, and one that basically had a nuclear meltdown that Dodge ended up buying back. These things are utter garbage.
We have a whole fleet of them for our rentals though. And surprise surprise, nobody even wants one as a rental.
I’m a tech at a CDJR dealer, the first two we got in were both broken within a week. The first one came in with an INOP vacuum pump, so no power brakes and a CEL. The second one (first one we sold) came back a week later with a dead cluster and was promptly bought back by Chrysler. I drove one for the first time yesterday, the A Pillar blind spots are horrible, the GIANT paddle shifters get in the way of using the wipers or turn signal, and the road noise (on a car with less than 100 miles mind you) was worse than my 2014 1500 with 120k miles and knobby tires.
People like my dad who simply refuse to own anything else. That man has had to put new transmissions in the last 3 cars he's owned. He retired his 2013 Chrysler 200 last year because it was a total shitbox. My 2014 Ford is runs better than that thing. A *FORD*.
And what did he buy? A 2019 300.
The man still intends to buy a fleet of 2023 300s after they get discontinued because he refuses to own another brand.
Is CDJR a tax writeoff for Stellantis or something? I get Fiats are garbage, but it seems they're intentionally tanking their US brands.
I'm sure the non-Wrangler Jeeps, that stupid 4xE Wrangler and these sit forever.
From the training I’ve received directly from Stellantis, it seems like reliability and mechanical robustness is just a second thought for CDJR. I worked for Honda dealer as well and the training slideshows and such I had to watch they take pride in their reliability
Dodge Hornet was released in 2022. In the year 2024, Dodge is currently selling Charger, Challenger, and Durango. All gasoline cars that get horrible fuel economy. Having a crappy 4-cylinder crossover lowers the fleet average to meet CAFE standards.
Any manufacturers with a base model car that's affordable is going to disappear quick. The deprecation curve starts lower, making repairs that much closer being uneconomical leaving the car junked.
I've seen a shocking number of 5-10 year old Kias, Hyundais, Nissans, and Fiat Jeeps (Jeeps that aren't Wranglers or Grand Cherokees) in the local Pick-a-Parts. The common theme amongst them is that all cheap models when sold new and have steep depreciation.
10-15 years ago the common "New" cars in Pick-a-Parts were base model New Beetles, Taurus, Focus, Cavaliers, Jettas, Golfs, Hyundai/Kias, Neons, etc. Basic transportation that was cheap to buy new and had little enthusiast following.
It is going to rely on Tesla having a support team for a legacy product. My 2011 Macbook no longer is supported by Apple's repair department, and bugs will go unfixed.
Does Tesla intend to have a team of programmers sitting around fixing bugs for the next 10 years? Probably not. I expect this car is completely unusable in 5 years.
these will live forever as youtube project cars, where they just scrap all the trash parts and make it into something weird, like give it a v10 viper engine or whatever.
Normal people will stop buying them.
I don't know why we are being downvoted but any accident or ass-phattery on the part of the owner will probably total the Cybertruck long before the batteries go bad.
They are actually surprisingly reliable. Riding on the spare, missing its front facia, and beat to hell, and still running well enough. a used Altima, Sentra, or Maxima will last quite a long time
Yeah if the Nissan drivers sub is any indication, those cars are more than capable of going 100+ mph with the whole Christmas tree of dash lights on. Most of them yes with bumbler damage and on spare tires.
They swapped some of the [front and rear fascia](https://static1.topspeedimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/hornet-vs-tonale.jpg) parts and lights, and called it good.
I wonder if dodge would have made these as a hatchback instead of a crossover if they would have sold more or less? Have a manual option maybe? The 2.0L turbo making nearly 270hp is nice but the rest of it is just meh…(well the upgraded brake package is nice too I guess)
It's wild that those grand Prix and Grand Am from like 2000-2009 were everywhere and I feel like I've seen a couple in the last several years... They all just fell apart I guess
Any ford escape or focus... the fushion is okay good, but just get a Toyota or Honda.
I no longer see any Fiestas, Focus, Edge, Escape
They tend to share parts.
I get happy when I see any Plymouth or any Jeep that is not a Wrangler.
I had a regular customer asking for an oil change on a Plymouth Voyager to this year
I see high mileage Escapes all the time that were driven in salty winters.
They are fine vehicles. The new ones are pretty dialed in also. Really low finance and lease rates at the moment.
Was actually looking at the hybrid escapes. Reliable 4 cylinder engine and a Toyota based e-cvt transmission for cheaper used than a base, high mileage gas crv or Rav 4? Sign me up...
I see a _ton_ of focus's near me. Specifically that weird middle gen USDM focus.
This one.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Focus_(second_generation,_North_America)
Then lasting thought is a different issue tho lol.
I still see the edge all the time where I am, could just be that my area is slow to adapt because i only found put they even existed earlier this year when i was driving my friend, and he pointed at one in front of us and made an edging joke
Ford have literally said they will no longer make cars that aren’t SUVs/Crossovers and half already pulled the plug on the Fiesta with the Focus probably quite soon too.
I got my 2011 Taurus up to 279k miles, loved that car but sadly it was hit and totaled by a drunk driver a few years back while parked in front of my house.
That’s funny because that’s almost exactly what happened to our Taurus. It was my dad’s company car and it had about 150k miles on it and one night we were driving home from a concert when a truck came up behind us and smashed right into us. Car was completely destroyed.
For me it was around 1 am Thanksgiving morning parked on the street. Drunk driver had no insurance and no registration. When it hit 250k my wife and I decided to drop the insurance down to liability because I drove it for so long without any problems but a few months later BAM, total loss. My goal was to hit 300k but oh well, shit happens.
Funny thing.
As of about a day ago that tone has changed.
Ford might be bringing back a small entry level car to the U.S/Canada market.
That's about all I can say until an official announcement.
> when I see any Plymouth
I haven't seen a Plymouth on the road in years. Or, at least one that I noticed. I'm sure something like a Voyager passed and I didn't notice it wasn't a Caravan or something.
2014 Ford Fusion owner here. Just from what I see on the road, 1st gens will run forever. Basically Mazda 6's under the hood. 2nd gens... 13-16 models seem to be holding up better than 17-18s. 19-20s... maybe.
Regardless, pre-2020 EcoBoost Fusions and Escapes will not see 2030.
My mom has a 2020 Eclipse Cross; she got it for the 10-year 100k warranty. She has 50,000 miles on it now and hasn’t had any issues yet. But she does get it serviced on time, and she is a grandma. This is just anecdotal.
Stellantis have updated those wet timing belt for a more common metallic chain, but at the same time blame users for all of those engine killed due to timing issues or for getting its oil pump starved due to getting too much crap from its decomposing belt.
Those Stellantis Diesel cars with a BlueHDI badge will get the same fate, as most of them has (or will have) problems with the AdBlue system and they didn't change anything in 10 years or so AFAIK
Basically all of them that aren't Toyotas or Hondas.
Here's my prediction: In the year 2045 there will be more 1992 Honda Accords on the road than 2024 Hyundai Sonatas.
I feel like we'll still being seeing 9th gen Ford F-series trucks as well as early-mid 2000s Chevy trucks in 20 years too. Those things are everywhere.
Honestly I kinda expect to keep seeing today's Hyundais running in the future. There's just as many early 2010s Elantras as Altimas and Sentras of the same era still pushing around me (with the same caliber of driver lmao).
I'm not even sure about Hondas at this point. I've seen many never ones leaking oil before 50k miles. If people continue to listen to the 15% oil warning, which is about 7k miles, they will be burned out before 150k.
Not a Honda guy but I would love another late 90s Civic. My 2000 Civic LX never let me down and was wrecked at 150k miles. Would have just rebuilt it if I had the means to
Let's be a little real here, obviously Toyota and Honda are the safest bet if you're buying a new car and your primary concern is reliability, but even today a 1992 Accord is a rather rare sight in this day and age. They're reliable, they're tough, they do (generally) last a long time, but even Hyundai/Kia and every one of the domestic brands has produced models that commonly go to 200-300k and beyond. My first car was a 2006 Honda Pilot that was owned by my aunt and meticulously maintained but it still left me stranded on multiple occasions before it passed 200k, and literally 2,000 miles after crossing 200k the transmission randomly died on me. Meanwhile my Nana's Taurus that ran off cigarettes and "$10 on 2" is still puttering around 22 years later, lol.
i havent seen any of the older teslas lately. Lots of 2018 - 2024 models but never the first gen model S' or something, they all disappeared i wonder why
It's less that they disappeared and more that they're just far outnumbered by new ones. They made less cars between 2012-2017 than they now make in a quarter.
I definitely catch the occasional '12-15 S, with the faux grille.
When Tesla first came out they were relatively low volume compared to today. I've never seen a Tesla roadster in my life for that reason, they barely sold any.
Plus EVs on the used market are almost as cheap as replacing a gen 1 battery, most people would just upgrade instead of replacing the battery on the gen1
There's a small fleet of first gen model s around me being used to deliver pizza. They are out there. I think the original owners mostly dumped them for the next newest thing
I mean i still see nose cone Ss all the time and they didn't even sell that many. Plus tesla has insane customer satisfaction so the cars are sticking with owners instead of being dumped around
I just seen a Hornet on the freeway this morning. First time I ever seen one, I thought it actually looked pretty good from the back. I could see myself driving one. Now looking at this picture, not so great from the front.. I wouldn't want to be seen in that.
The numbers on reliability in Europe are pretty decent. Are Americans just beating them into the ground or are there actual reliability differences for USDM assembled Kia and Hyundai cars?
What about the Nissan Rogue? They keep pushing out new models to distract you, but you look back, and they only last 3 years and then disappear off the face of the planet.
Yeah I read the launch was a total disaster. The old BMW Vista CA location became a Fisker dealership and it’s a ghost town. I’ve seen maybe 2 on the road.
Mustang. Not completely but almost. At least in my area. All the new mustangs have gone through this cycle. Used to see the fox bodys a lot, then the rounded one and the squarish one. The the retro styled one. They all went away.i don't understand why though as they seem popular maybe they're kept in garages
Definitely the Hornet... it barely exists on the roads now.
I've seen a total of 2 on the road. I imagine the driver either got a screamin' deal on it or it was a rental.
I finally saw one the other day. And it had mfg plates lol.
This is the first I'm learning of its existence lol
I've seen a couple of R/Ts online for $12k off. Some channels say they've seen $17k off and it's on a 600+ day stock. Bro at $20k it's hard to say no
It's a dodge with Italian electronics. They could pay me $20k to take it and I still wouldn't leave the lot with it.
Pay you $20K? The worst case, you could drive it until something breaks - which might not take that long, but $20K is $20K.
Worst thing is the RT burns down my house.
I mean a free hand job from an 80 year old prostitute is also a good deal.
$20k for a compact AWD PHEV is a steal in my book. Too bad it’s just another FCA abomination. I personally don’t want my car to be in the shop every other month as cars are usually my life’s income.

That’s why they’re all stuck on the lots still because neither wants to do that
I’ve only seen 2 that weren’t on the dealer lot and they both had Utah plates which means there is about a 50% chance they were rental cars.
I've never seen one in person, only know one person who has ever said anything about it, and have only seen two pictures of this thing online. I'm not convinced it's a real thing.
I live in Detroit, where you see a lot of rare cars, but outside of the autoshow (prototype) I haven't seen one
Right? I’ve seen one, and it was the most underwhelming little thing on the road. If you’re going to name something “hornet”, it needs to look badass, and it doesn’t.
I’ve only seen one so far and it was at a body shop…
I only ever see them at my work 🤣
From the Dodge website: “SAVAGE BY DESIGN Carved with the muscular stance of a Dodge Brand vehicle and repping the iconic hood scoops of American muscle, the 2024 Dodge Hornet intimidates and is impossible to ignore. Check performance stats on customizable screens inside the teched out cabin, then grip the wheel and gear up for a driving experience like none other.” It’s a crossover, calm down.
Wow whoever wrote that is a master bullshitter lmao
They get paid good money to write BS like that, not even mad.
He also works for dodge so he is snorting nose candy off a strippers ass while writing this.
And what’s wrong with that?
This is amazing, WTF. "Muscular", lol. The picture above is probably its best angle, and it's not even close to muscular there. In person it's downright frumpy. Also, what hood scoops? The little vents you can barely see? Oh, and the "performance stats" of a crossover SUV. I want a Porsche Sport Chrono package next. If that’s muscular than I’m Mr Olympia
They did the same with the Caliber, talking about how "scary" it looked. *"It's anything but cute."*
Just like their last little SUV, the '07-12 Dodge Caliber. Remember that one? No? Neither does anyone else.
I remember the dart because it sucked getting as a rental.
I remember the Caliber as the ugliest, worst, demented robotic turtle-ass looking car I've ever seen.
I saw one on the road last week and realized I couldn't remember the last time I saw one on the road.
I live in southern italy, i routinely see 2 of them. Might be because they're manual diesels?
Probably the only reason they're still on the road... they used a VW diesel in those instead of the crap global gas 4-cyl, and that's not the kind of place where they rusted into oblivion due to road salt like most of the US.
I used to own the SRT4 Caliber so I definitely do remember this one and kinda miss it! Was a fun little zoomer.
I imagine those were fun in much the same way as the SRT4 Neons were... Zippy little turbo powertrain bolted on to a medicore platform with interior materials by Playskool
I remember how terrible it was because I kept getting them as rentals.
The hornets that did sell won’t work in 10 years time.
It looks too refined for the Dodge customer base. It also is a piece of shit, but that hasn't stopped them before.
Only place I’ve seen any recently was at the dealership I bought my 200 at while there for an oil change last weekend.
It’s the most boring meh car…who tha hell says yeah I want that
I work for a CDJR dealer, NOBODY is buying hornets. And the few we have sold are having problems already. But that’s normal for Chrysler lol
How does Chrysler stay in business if they sell products that barely work?
CDJR is funded soley by the “J” and to a lesser but still prominent brand, “R”
It's why a Wrangler costs a fucktillion dollars now. They're milking it to make up for the others.
>fucktillion This is part of my lexicon now
They finance anyone and they have a fairly large following. Brand loyalty is a helluva drug.
MOPAR OR NO CAR!!
God damn foreign import cars i only buy american. Dale Smith -Sent from my iPhone 6
jokes on them they got a mopar and no car
People like my dad who simply refuse to own anything else. That man has had to put new transmissions in the last 3 cars he's owned. He retired his 2013 Chrysler 200 last year because it was a total shitbox. My 2014 Ford is runs better than that thing. A *FORD*. And what did he buy? A 2019 300. The man still intends to buy a fleet of 2023 300s after they get discontinued because he refuses to own another brand.
They DID have a following. No more rear drive Hemi cars? No more following…
How many Dodge Caravans do you see at the grocery store? People are buying them.
Because morons love Jeeps and Jeeps print money.
I worked there in engineering, reliability and mechanical robustness isn't a thought at all. Make it cheap, make it fast, that's it.
I’ve heard they’re being shipped from Italy over to North America and developing rust on the way
It’s that fine Italian steel. Seriously, I think the only thing worse than a Stellantis product are Italian cars.
Chevy Spark, Mitsubishi Mirage, Kia Rio, and Nissan Versa. Not because of any mechanical issues, because the owners will beat them into the ground.
200K on my Versa and still rockin'
Funny enough, I think you listed every car you can still get for under $20k brand new.
Like all other small Dodge vehicles the Hornet won't get a second generation
Neon got a second gen though, but it started off as a Plymouth
The new hornet only exists as a compliance car for the dodge brand so they can sell their gas guzzling muscle cars. Just a re-badged Tonale.
THEN WHY DID THEY USE THE BELOVED HORNET NAME ON THIS SHIT CAR JUST KEEP USING JOURN—I NEED TO TAKE A WALK
Please point me to the direction of Dodge's muscle cars that they are still making.
Dodge Hornet was released in 2022. In the year 2024, Dodge is currently selling Charger, Challenger, and Durango. All gasoline cars that get horrible fuel economy. Having a crappy 4-cylinder crossover lowers the fleet average to meet CAFE standards.
https://www.dodge.com/next-gen-charger.html
That would not be a “gas guzzling” muscle car however.
Dodge will find a way.

As a Focus enthusiast I appreciate the readily available parts at junkyards. There's usually at least 3 at my local yard every time I go
Tesla Cybertrucks
It is going to rely on Tesla having a support team for a legacy product. My 2011 Macbook no longer is supported by Apple's repair department, and bugs will go unfixed. Does Tesla intend to have a team of programmers sitting around fixing bugs for the next 10 years? Probably not. I expect this car is completely unusable in 5 years.
Tesla still supports their 2014 vehicles
Only because they still produce the same car!
Nissan and Toyota don't want you to know this one simple trick! Calling out the 5th gen 4r, gtr and z
these will live forever as youtube project cars, where they just scrap all the trash parts and make it into something weird, like give it a v10 viper engine or whatever. Normal people will stop buying them.
Yeah, but that still keeps them off the road pretty well!
Not sure any “normal” people have bought any in the first place.
In 10 years the battery goes bad and insurance will total it.
Yeah I’m also not a fan of them relying on software to turn the steering wheel..
I already hate electric parking brakes. Steer by wire gives me the willies.
No, the batteries will mostly be fine. The more likely scenario is that in 9-10 years they’ll all be rust buckets.
I don't know why we are being downvoted but any accident or ass-phattery on the part of the owner will probably total the Cybertruck long before the batteries go bad.
Insurance is gonna total it the first time some kid drops the handlebars of a bike into the side of it and it gets a scrape lol
I had one pass me yesterday when I was driving home. It looked like it escaped from a video game in 1999
it looks like a pontiac aztec running on a playstation 1
That Cybertruck is nothing but a fade.
Nissan Ariya
Nissan ~~Ariya~~
They are actually surprisingly reliable. Riding on the spare, missing its front facia, and beat to hell, and still running well enough. a used Altima, Sentra, or Maxima will last quite a long time

I’ve seen a few of these around recently, they look pretty good in person
Wth is that
Dodge Hornet
Kinda looks like the Alfa Romeo Tonale we have over here
It’s actually based on the Alfa Tonale!
Ah yes, the Alfa Toenail
Its is. It’s almost literally the same car. Dodge rebadged it essentially.
They swapped some of the [front and rear fascia](https://static1.topspeedimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/hornet-vs-tonale.jpg) parts and lights, and called it good.
Well, a 2.0t comes base in the hornet. But it is an alfa.
Well Fiat, Chrysler, And dodge are all the same company with them owning Alfa too.
It's rebadged Alfa Romeo Tonale but somehow much less reliable
What the hell is that? Looks like something Stellantis would make.
It is. It’s the Dodge Hornet
Ty. The badge on the front looks like half an old fiat badge
It's based on the Alfa Romeo Tonale. Dodge just swapped the bumpers, lights and badges and called it a day and everyone is seeing right through it
The Tonale is a much much better looking car. Not a great job from Dodge.
I wonder if dodge would have made these as a hatchback instead of a crossover if they would have sold more or less? Have a manual option maybe? The 2.0L turbo making nearly 270hp is nice but the rest of it is just meh…(well the upgraded brake package is nice too I guess)
Honestly if it was a dart 100% people probably would have bought it. 270hp in a dart sounds fucking awesome.
We were supposed to get a Dart SRT4 but it got canceled. We were *this* close to greatness.
It's wild that those grand Prix and Grand Am from like 2000-2009 were everywhere and I feel like I've seen a couple in the last several years... They all just fell apart I guess
Whats wild is where I am those are still regular traffic. I see at least 4 or 5 different ones on a daily basis.
Any ford escape or focus... the fushion is okay good, but just get a Toyota or Honda. I no longer see any Fiestas, Focus, Edge, Escape They tend to share parts. I get happy when I see any Plymouth or any Jeep that is not a Wrangler. I had a regular customer asking for an oil change on a Plymouth Voyager to this year

Was actually looking at the hybrid escapes. Reliable 4 cylinder engine and a Toyota based e-cvt transmission for cheaper used than a base, high mileage gas crv or Rav 4? Sign me up...
Jeep Commanders suck
This person gets me in a spiritual level, there owners also suck. *worked in auto parts for 5 years and they get mad when I don't carry parts*
CommanDURRR
I see a _ton_ of focus's near me. Specifically that weird middle gen USDM focus. This one. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Focus_(second_generation,_North_America) Then lasting thought is a different issue tho lol.

The Fusions are toast if they don’t have the Mazda 2.5L… go on r/fordfusion to see the prevalent coolant intrusion nightmares.
Ford have literally said they will no longer make cars that aren’t SUVs/Crossovers and half already pulled the plug on the Fiesta with the Focus probably quite soon too.
That announcement was in 2019. The Fiesta, Focus, and Taurus have already been gone for 5 years, and the Fusion 4.
I loved the Taurus, it was a beast.

Funny thing. As of about a day ago that tone has changed. Ford might be bringing back a small entry level car to the U.S/Canada market. That's about all I can say until an official announcement.
And when, hypothetically, might that be?
As the driver of a Focus I feel attacked.
The edge is about the only exception on that list. I see them pretty regularly and if you get the 3.5 duratech they're pretty stout.
> when I see any Plymouth I haven't seen a Plymouth on the road in years.
Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross
My mom has a 2020 Eclipse Cross; she got it for the 10-year 100k warranty. She has 50,000 miles on it now and hasn’t had any issues yet. But she does get it serviced on time, and she is a grandma. This is just anecdotal.
Any car with a small turbo engine and wet timing belt. For example the ford eco boost or PSA puretech engine.
Hopefully Kia Souls. I hate those things.
1993 camries until the world ends
My 1992 civic vx hatch will never die!
Trucks, yeah. I was just considering "cars". F-series trucks and current-gen Chevies will be around no doubt.
A 10 yr old car is a 2014 ur telling me you dont see any non honda toyotas from 2014
And there will still be guys running rusty XJs, carrying spare CPSs and the tools to swap them in 15 minutes on the side of the road.
Ugh. Plenty of cars that are good aside fr Toyotas and Hondas. Neither of those two are as good as they were
I think you are forgetting that Europe and North America also manufacture cars.
I rarely see 92 Accords as it is though, sometimes I see older Sonatas but not a whole ton.
Not a Honda guy but I would love another late 90s Civic. My 2000 Civic LX never let me down and was wrecked at 150k miles. Would have just rebuilt it if I had the means to
No love for Mazda?
Meanwhile my Nana's Taurus that ran off cigarettes and "$10 on 2" is still puttering around 22 years later, lol.
hopefully the jeep compass, probably one of the the worst little shits that came out of them
Tesla model 3s.
i havent seen any of the older teslas lately.
So glad the faux grille is almost entirely dead except for the Mach-E. Hideous.
Cries in BMW i-series.
The only meh implementation just because the grill is so iconic (and any painted grill they’ve attempted has been worse imo)
They have changed so little that they tend to blend in with every other 3. You have to know what to look for to tell generations apart.
Older Teslas are everywhere in SoCal
I mean i still see nose cone Ss all the time and they didn't even sell that many. Plus tesla has insane customer satisfaction so the cars are sticking with owners instead of being dumped around
Bro that’ll be gone by the next 5 years
Chrysler.
My local Dodge dealer has had 3 of the awful gold ones sitting for more than a year.
I just seen a Hornet on the freeway this morning. First time I ever seen one, I thought it actually looked pretty good from the back. I could see myself driving one. Now looking at this picture, not so great from the front.. I wouldn't want to be seen in that.
It looks like it was designed at the same time as the Dart. Looks very dated already.
Leaf. Inadequate range has earned it a bad reputation. Could have easily been fixed with a better battery.
Here in finland there is loads of first gen Leafs still on road. The range is more than enough for city driving
Most any Kiyundai that you currently see on the road will be in limp mode by then at best.
The numbers on reliability in Europe are pretty decent. Are Americans just beating them into the ground or are there actual reliability differences for USDM assembled Kia and Hyundai cars?
It's been out for a minute and I've only seen maybe two or three. Dealers are trying to push them but no one wants them lol
Mustang Mach E
Kia stinger, my hotter take would be the ford broncos
The Hornet has to appear before it can disappear. I still have yet to see one of these out on the road.
What about the Nissan Rogue? They keep pushing out new models to distract you, but you look back, and they only last 3 years and then disappear off the face of the planet.
Really? I still see pre 15 models everywhere
“It’s a Buick”
You would have to be a moron to buy the Dodge Hornet over the Alfa Romeo Tonale. Same car, different badge. Roughly the same price as well.
The dodge hornet starts at $31,000 The Alfa Romeo tonale starts at $43,845 You’d have to be a moron to spend $12,000 for a badge
Obv the hornet, I’ve only seen 3 in the roads. It’s a useless vehicle and doesn’t do anything that another cheaper vehicle can’t do better
The hornet would’ve done great in Mexico but I don’t see it working here
Fiat 500 sold <300 units in 2022.
Fiskers
Yeah I read the launch was a total disaster. The old BMW Vista CA location became a Fisker dealership and it’s a ghost town. I’ve seen maybe 2 on the road.
Evoque
Mustang. Not completely but almost. At least in my area. All the new mustangs have gone through this cycle. Used to see the fox bodys a lot, then the rounded one and the squarish one. The the retro styled one. They all went away.i don't understand why though as they seem popular maybe they're kept in garages
Whatever that new Buick crossover thing is. Can't remember the name because I barely remember Buick even exists anymore.
How Dodge is still a thing is beyond me.
I’ve literally seen more in the dealership lot than on the road driving
pretty much any GM vehicle. blazers seem like crap, traverse and Malibus
