I live at apex. I personally think it’s one of the best (a tad expensive) places to live. it’s quite literally right on campus. if you walk across the street you’re on RIT property. The bus is actually EXTREMELY reliable. the negative is that the walls and floors are thin. i lucked out and got a top floor corner unit so i don’t hear anything. but the thin walls are the same in dorms and other RIT off campus options. it is a great place to live. no need to worry.
Shuttle is good walk is longer but manageable especially coming back from class, I’d say 20-30 minutes to walk but it’s all on sidewalks and mostly on campus so it’s a safe walk at least
I’m in the main area of campus, I walk down the quarter mile past the residence halls to get home if the shuttles aren’t available or will take too long
Depends on your room and your neighbors. My room is always quiet but my roommate hears his upstairs neighbor playing music all night long. Other than potential noise and the occasional as expected fire alarm, I don’t have any complaints. I never really take the bus but it’s always on time, and the walk is less than 20 minutes.
I lived in a five bed at apex and it wasn’t that bad. If you have nice roommates, there isn’t anything for you to worry about. the only problem is they have really bad management so you might run into some problems with them.

Give them a call or have someone call them. I had gotten a relative to call them and they updated it. I am dming you the email address of the guy who updates the portal. You can mail him. But call would be a better option.

It is quite a walk from campus. I would estimate 5 large city blocks.

I walk home sometimes from class back to my apartment at apex, it only takes about 13 minutes so it’s really manageable
Are you on the main area of campus or are you ate jbj hall? It takes about 10 minutes to get to the residence halls from apex

Did you pay the Last Month’s rent and the first month’s together after 1 week of applying for the lease?
No I didn’t since I had a full year lease but my roommate who had a 10month lease paid last month’s rent and first month’s rent.
