I was there on foot and a house definitely blew up, although I only saw the aftermath. The explosion damn near knocked me out of my chair at home, so like a moth to a flame I ran to go see what it was. Really crazy
It could have been. I went over there, my entire house shook like a bomb went off because I live like 5 houses down. There was no smell of gas, but a smell of acrid chemicals. Could have been anything but really likely to not be a gas leak

I smelled smoke almost instantaneously after the explosion about 5 houses down, and my house shook. Definitely knew something wasn't right
So that's what happened. The emergency response was huge. I live just off of 22nd and heard all kinds of wild noises.

Apparently a house explosion on Diefenbaker. Cops, firetrucks and others have the street blocked off. Just detoured around it not too long ago.
And no, my house is not on fire.
