I subscribed to Hulu for the soul purpose of binging this whole series. I expected it to just be a bunch of nonsense with no plot lines, but I was sobbing by the end. Completely unexpected, and anyone who loves the game loves this show. It's pretty brilliant.
Best overall comedy show I’ve seen in a long time from the acting, writing, and editing. Shoresy and Letterkenny both don’t get the attention They deserve. Looking forward to many more shows from this writing team!
I also didn't know until recently that Jared Keeso (Shoresy) also played juniors with Jeff Carter, but I knew while watching the show that he had to be an actual hockey player. He's a gem.
Yep! Back in 2000-2001.

Hitchcock at the seminar with the kids made me laugh when he said "I'm not tryin' to tell ya to go out and punch no one in the head, but if ya does, ya might get a bit more room out there next time ya has the puck, b'ys."
I laughed for about 5 minutes actually crying so much so I was in pain.
I absolutely wept. Yes, on one hand, it's about sport wins and losses, but Waffle's first positive identity and experience of *himself* is in sports, which isn't uncommon for kids.
He's been living for hockey since he was a kid and now he's forty.
I watched it with my husband, who's a computer programmer and myself, who's an historian and archivist. We're both forty. (Well, I'm 42.)
It would be like if he couldn't use a computer or I couldn't recall my research and tell stories. It's striking at the core of who he is, how he lives his life, how he defines himself.
I've had serious neuro problems and I *am* routinely told about things I don't remember, things I was there for and participated in but have no memory of, like a friend coming by for the evening a couple of weeks ago.
It's awful, and I get why this is so traumatic for him.
I've rewatched the final locker room scene more times than I can count.
Can you keep the puck out? I need you to keep the fuckin puck out. Can you do it...? I got him... Don't worry about him. Can you keep the fuckin puck out? Keep the fuckin puck out.
Chills.
Me too, epic scene.
Also, the open of episode 2, from him arriving at the rink to being the last to leave. That’s me at beer league. I love the room and the boys, definitely what I’ll miss the most when it’s time to hang up the skates.
I’ve adopted two things from shoresey that work for me in my life “set the tone” and “go until you can’t go no more”. He’s my new favorite life coach. Definitely making sure I don’t get a 4-6.
Give yer balls a tug. But also me too. Watched the first two seasons again and just watched season three and cried like a bitch watching the last episodes. This show, man. As expected…there’s Shoresy, right there bein good to us.

Nat and shoresy post game shot was great. Nothing needed but a comforting hand on your back and a silent sob
It was solid!

Settle down.
Season 4 needs to be 30 episodes and an hour long each

Whaaaat, Carter was one of my fave players when he was on the Flyers

You just made my day, bud
The scene where he uses his stick as a cane hit me hard.
Hitchcock at the seminar with the kids made me laugh when he said "I'm not tryin' to tell ya to go out and punch no one in the head, but if ya does, ya might get a bit more room out there next time ya has the puck, b'ys." I laughed for about 5 minutes actually crying so much so I was in pain.
That scene got me good.

❤️
The truck commercial was too funny 😂
Half ton shorty sport box
Look at this half ton shorty.
But STILL say short box.
...Short box
Cut!
Wow. WOW!
TABARNAC!!!!
I lost it at that. I was waiting for him to speak during that scene
Dolo is unbelievable.
You didn't say cut
I loved S3. The emergence of Dolo with more speaking parts really caught me off guard.
Settle down
I watched season 2 before watching 3. So good. Plan to watch all 3 again.
Season 3 surprised the shit outta me. So so good.
1>3>>2

that scene was gold
I too cried. We should give our balls a tug.
Agreed
Give your balls a tug. But also ... Same. I watch the whole show for each new season too, to make it last longer. I did the same for Letterkenny.
Me too
Me too
has it occurred to you I care more about you than I do about winning?
That got me in the feels….
I’ve adopted two things from shoresey that work for me in my life “set the tone” and “go until you can’t go no more”. He’s my new favorite life coach. Definitely making sure I don’t get a 4-6.
Who's gonna set the fuckin' tone?!
I’ve been doing that go until you can’t go anymore thing with my hockey injuries the last few years and it’s catching up bad. #istillcanpushwhenishit

I think it was episodes 3-4 when I was like damn it why are you making me feel the feels.
Ep 3 & 4 literally wrecked me
I just watched 4 and the hit and the subsequent black screen, holy shit.
I gasped out loud...stunned...Brilliant filming
Settle down
So good
Obligatory give yer balls a tug
Yup
Yeah
