Walked Yishun park for years never had an episode other than saying hello to the regulars. People are so highly tuned up nowadays, everyone is so entitled. Makes me wonder if they take a walk to de-stress or to get stressed out?
Argue with neighbors, argue at work place, argue at Kopitiam, argue on the road now argue in the park as well 🤣
OP on Facebook -
About this rude Indian Singaporean guy.. While we are walking our dog's he suddenly interrupted us behind and complain that we occupied the road but its not true because we are walking on the left side line..now he's starting to attacked my friends. He's shouting us. and he so furious and he also proud saying that his citizen police of the Singapore ! so what if he's retired police? He can act what ever he want?? so rude and e mature person..He can ask us politely and calm not just shouting behind , my friends lips is bleeding because he pushed using he's elbow..this person need to discipline.
Huh?nothing wrong with that? We are supposed to walk on the left. Should the indian wants to overtake just go from the right then back to left? Its a minor issue tho, he is alr brisk walking/jogging just do himself a favour to overtake or say excuse me. So much effort just to make a point😂😂 kinda funny dont you think?
IMO.. Both at fault.. don't matter, sometime at some wide open space and I heard someone behind me saying excuse me, I turn around and verify if that's for me, then I move aside and apologize and I continue on my merry way, they can rant or whine and I just walk away.. no drama. No point pointing to empty spaces they could have used..
But many times there are people who are not aware they're blocking the path, can be anywhere, parks, supermarket, shopping malls, public, private pavement everywhere.. Some group couple occupy the entire pathway happily chatting, people behind say excuse me.. they ignore because they're engrossed in their conversation.. Say excuse me just a bit louder so they can hear, and they turn step aside then from behind, not uncommon to hear comments like.. So rude.. don't have to shout right among themselves. Personally, encountered so many time.. I just walk on fast and far away, and another drama avoided..
It’s not an Indian accent. It’s a local one with some inflections of an Indian accent. The local accent is very hard to pick up if you came here as an immigrant. He has obviously grown up here.
What does it matter if he's indian or otherwise? Now you're saying this. Clearly you're deeply prejudiced. Additionally, you may be on the left side but your dog is also taking up part of the road. So you should be considerate of joggers and cyclists from behind you.
Instead of pointing who is at fault and create more hate, let us remember that we are all part of the same community and our differences should not divide us. Let's work together to find common ground and build a stronger, more unified community. Spread love, not hate.
After my dog died... Every time I see some friendly looking pple (especially neighbors or neighbors from beside block)... I will ask them permission to pet their dogs...
It might meant nothing to the owners but It's juz like a 2min nostalgic moment for me...
I'll make do... There's like 1-2 aunties always walking below my block which I'm familiar with, (so I no need ask permission), I'll juz chit chat with auntie and then juz play with the dogs for as long as I can...
Well... Kinda "satisfied" the empty hole in my heart. So... Yeah...
Looks like a civil matter that has been going on for some time. They say they see each other in the morning. Cops realy can't get invovled. They will only write up a report to support a criminal case that may occur in the future. Hope both parties can resolve. If someone is hurt, better make a police report. No one is above the law.
bloody hell adults find problem with each and then cant even settle themselves everything need to call police one. POLICE got many other urgent things to entertain not some egoistical self entitled idiots….
So video starts and the guy instantly tries to downplay things as if he is embarrassed. Then proceeds to try(but fail) at intimidating the foreign domestic worker with things like citizen police, demanding for employers number etc. fck this guy
With the influx of so called FT, it dominates the culture of SGP. This the social problems Sgpean facing now and in the future! Road rage, fight in MRT, self-entitled n even can arguments in the park! Don’t talk about sky high inflation . Gov need to promote Courtesy like in the 80’ where Courtesy is Our home.
He fat lah. Try that with a man and see how it turns out. He only tough guy around women Ayo.
Try it with me we won't need police. I'll call 995 for him and have him rushed to NUH
My only contribution is that I don't know why we need Citizen Police (yes it's a thing, voluntary work). It's not like we actually have crime happening on the streets all the time. Most of the time these voluntary community work are just avenues for people to flex their power over others.

Argue with government
"hey singapore how is it going" *another pointless fight* But also its just social media and people having their phones glued to their hand.
Argue with the trees.
Trees begin speaking binary
Errr. Why the entitlement here to say hello to regulars? 🤣
the fuck is happening💀
Honestly when someone says where is your evidence, it kinda makes me believe that they are guilty. But really can't judge without knowing anything

Look at the video, the Pinoy is occupying the whole left lane. You guys are annoying with ur accent stop talking and move aside.

Quite obvious whose fault.
How? The video starts so late and only shows them arguing.

walking rich owner dogs yayapapaya already more established than their fellow compatriots who allowed these behaviors can slowly think.
That's why.. never engage, just walk away.. Let them rant and whine.. Not worth the anger and frustration, and let them go fight among themselves..
Such a Singaporean problem. Cant scream at their boss so need to resort to screaming at passer by.
"Indian Singaporean Guy" - immediately raises the issue to race, nationality and gender, makes me subconsciously weigh less on what she said
Definitely not Singaporean, probably new citizen
New citizens don't count as Singaporean?

Such an uncalled for racist remarks. Can’t you hear his accent? He’s more local
That’s not a local Indian accent. Just saying.

We are our own worst enemies. Some people, no matter how educated they get, will never come out of the social evil of caste systems.
Singaporeans' company Singaporean employee hating/anti Singaporeans also have. Except their kids, relatives, parents ...
What's so surprising? The caste system is still very prevalent.
yeah i see this happening as well in my company, the indians that came to singapore are of the lower caste.
A lot of crazy people nowadays suddenly you all walk together must be so awkward at that moment
LOL, now a days dog and cat are " confuse "
Their chemistry is off the charts 😂

Erm…An “excuse me” would have suffice?

Son, this is How I met your Mother 🤣
Surely,my fault for watching this.
Your walk your way, so do others, don’t tell others whatever u like, u also don’t own the road, it public, so shut up.
OP could have de-escalated the situation by disengaging but choose to go on the offensive and trigger the guy even more.
One sided story. You must have done something you aren't telling or showing us to piss him off
Banchod you blardy! Running like girl innit?
I got the reference 😂😂😀
Some touch dog will die, regardless of how gentle those good boi are.

I mean the main contention is walk your dog properly. Can't judge much without knowing what happened. Can't choose to believe who also

In his head Singaporean means must be Chinese.
