Odahviing is honestly the unsung goat of Skyrim. Without him you had no chance of getting to skuldafn, goes against the literal end of the world to get you there, then afterwards he’s like “damn I respect you call me and I’ll help out”. Also he’s actually immortal so he’s stronger than Alduin.
Did the Stormcloak questline because of him. Sadly, he became just another NPC when you finish the civil war. And his mind seems broken after the civil war... I remember when I finished the imperial questline, Hadvar seemed lost. War sucks
He's the only character I was sad about when running into the sanctuary. Sure the others deaths were horrible too, but Veerzara has always been such a lovely npc it's sad there aren't more interactions with him about the shadowscales.
