Omg inside story and tempos were DELICIOUS!

5 star chocolate today is basically tempo though it tastes super similar to me.

There’s a way to get this country on the right track again and it starts with bringing tempo bars back to our shelves

Geldhof makes a bar similar to the inside story, just a bit smaller and 10x the price.

I always used to get either a tempo or inside story at the tuckshop back in the day. They were the best

It is the Caramel one. Half the slab will be that iconic colour.

It's just not the same. That little bear made it that much sweeter. A straight bar just doesn't have the same character. I recently found a choc-o-lig, which I assume is the replacement for Chocilate Logs. I tried one and you couldn't peel the top chocolate off the marshmallow.... and that was half the experince of a chocolate log.

If you liked caramello bears, you should try the caramel hearts from Woolies... They come in orange/bronze tinfoil. They are packed with caramel inside... They are my guilty pleasure

I miss a Tempo chocolate. It is 10 times better than a Five Star.

It had the exact right amount of shortbread in it so that it wasn't too dry, but also enough that it didn't get overpowered by the caramel.

I live in Australia and it still exists here. I've actually found loads of sweets that vanished from South Africa still exist here. Like lifesavers, refreshers, tempo ( called boost), and more.

Those FFWD bars were the best! I also remember Tempo chocolate bars. I still had one for lunch at school the day I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Fuck I miss those things.

Echo's. Though i think for a short while Cadbury made a dipped white chocolate flake which is pretty much the same thing. But Echo has 2 in the pack which made it twice as good.

That Caravan image hit hard. I remember the day I realised it was discontinued. I rarely get candy, but when I do, I get something I love. Drove to five different stores before a manager of a PnP told me it got discontinued. I straight up went home with no candy that day. Was sad for a while about it and I still reminisce about it some days.

Tempos were remade into all star bars. It’s not as great but it’s cheaper since no one buys them. As for tomato flavoured simba chips, the flavour lost the vote and was retired.
