Almost sounds like the starter is stuck. There is no cheap route around buying a new battery. You’re just compounding issues and going to cause yourself a situation where you can’t start the bike and need to get the fuck out of Dodge.. spend 150 bucks and be done with it FFS.
So battery is toast? Why would it even make that noise though? I didn’t try to start it at that moment. I just plugged it in and started making that noise

No idea but it sounds like your starter to me so if you’re not pressing the control then you have some kind of electrical issue going on
Batteries are the most commonly replaced thing on a bike after oil filters and maybe tires.
