The only one in this entire comment section (so far) asking the right question. Looks like another set of landing gear, I bet if he tries to take off he’ll ‘splode lol
My understanding is this is ongoing problems with desync. The server and your client are getting in small arguments about exact locations as the position comes and goes from the back end database. They are actively working on this and have fixed many instances of it, but it comes back because of the complexity of the database and interactions with it.
Perfectly normal. Their landing gear doesn't actually use the proper current collision tech and so bounces in and out of collision. At least that's what I recall a dev saying a few years ago. Thought it would have to be fixed before doing things like server meshing. Huh.
Can't see them on, but wondering if engines are on. In the last month, I left them on and was messing around in the ship, went to get off ... 10 METERS below the ship (as it was now hovering after a successful landing)
When ships do that, you can stand in front of them and while looking at the nose of the ship, hold F, there should be several context actions available, like 'Pet', 'Good boi' and 'Fetch'.
Last one only appears if you're holding an item in your hand.
On some ships, it can be tricky to find the right spot for the context actions, but it's there!
Perfectly normal. My Avenger took a bit of time to load into the hangar when I pulled it out of storage last night and did a little dancy dance to show how happy it was to be let out to play.
For an actual answer, I've found the F7C-Mk2 tends to bounce like that if you don't power it off before exiting the cockpit.
I haven't localized it to just engines or fully downpowering yet to find the root issue, but cutting power solves the bouncing.
Just a happy hornet
Or a pet horny, not sure
Horny pet maybe
Just warming up before flight.
I don't believe in it. You ever see a Lion limber up before it takes down a Gazelle?
Durrr - the lion does its warm-up before setting off to hunt, not when it has found its prey :p
My god man. Zombieland!
It's excited to go out, give it attention before it piddles on the floor and smashes you into the hanger wall with the force of 100 cargo lifters.
felt this one recently
it's just happy it's pilot did not get eaten by the elevator void =)
Well, you see when a ship physics grid and a hangar physics grid love each other very much...
"If the ship's a rocking, don't come a knocking" holds true even in the future
He's eager for the flight
Peak star citizen experience
Umm what's on top of it?

Ya but what ship has that landing gear?
I have no clue, but it appears to be there!
M50 landing gear I think
Ships *still* do that?
When the Hornet is a rockin' don't come a knockin'...
Ooh fancy, got the Mercedes bounce suspension
They do get excitable when they wanna get let out
So the first thing you did was run out and ask questions?

Doing the stanky leg.

It’s attracting a mate

Just two Mormons in there having a good time
So the cargo hatch can fit a few people hugging. Some people are hugging really hard in your cargo hatch.

Is there a sock on the handle?
Its a feature
Oooo she thicc and she knows how to use it

when you leave your ship unattended for 5 minutes in grim hex:
Its doing a little jig
This is why you don’t let others sneak into your hanger.
If the hornets a rockin'..... meh that joke is over played
If the Hornet is a' rockin, don't come a' knockin!
Bouncy little fella
Me and my wife before departure
So exited to shoot down a hammerhead
Looks like you’ve got another set of landing gear on top of your Hornet, amigo. I’d suggest storing your ship & hopping servers!
If this ships rockin, dont come a'knockin
Has anyone said the "...don't come a knockin!" joke yet?
If this hornets a rocking, don't come a knocking?
Murder hornet just excited to go live up to its name.
Do NOT enter without knocking
Hey at least your ship is only doing that. A while back it would’ve spawned upside down in the back corner of the hangar
its shacking and dancing. looking forward to take off. people always want living ships.
Late-stage patch environment. Hope 3.23 comes soon, this caldera is ready to blow.
Perfectly normal. My Avenger took a bit of time to load into the hangar when I pulled it out of storage last night and did a little dancy dance to show how happy it was to be let out to play.
Some days, I just don't want to move it, move it.
I see you got the Hornet lowrider edition, that's a rare one.
Looks like you got some horny stowaways.
When the pots a-rockin, don’t come knockin
Everyone said it ;-;
Oui Oui
it just likes the music
Just remember to never stow your ship while the engines are on or it will float when you call it back
I was once stuck on a planet for almost 30 minutes because of that....
We all may have done that at some point. Should always turn off the engines and leave the shields on when parking planetside.
Nothing special maybe low server fps or just “the rule of universe”
What's a little twerking between ships?

theres stuff on the roof pushing it
