All the hellstar clones using the same alibaba washes and graphic style. Ive never once seen someone in public wearing sweatpant material track suits these uninspired instagram brands are pumping out
logo spaming and covering clothes in random graphics. Back in 2012 i used to see hood by air do this to allot of their collections, and though it looked good back then, looking back now, i do wonder why it caught on, although i somewhat feel as if it gave a sense of loudness to the fashion industry which i guess was needed at the time. Raf simons used to do this as well, however i quite liked his execution of this graphic spamming as it told more of a story, which did inspire pieces of my own such as a Polaroid jacket i produced in fashion college.
oh for real, don't even get me started on 2016-2018 sound cloud era, that hypebeast era was the loudest I've ever seen streetwear be, right down to queues outside the supreme store for each drop. It was fun to see though for sure, and seeing which brands emerged and stayed was pretty interesting.
i think i quite enjoyed the era i seen growing up where you had the influence of Japan over the western styles of fashion, and how loud goth used to be as opposed to now. The fashion now is in a very experimental phase, and by my prediction, i think we are going to go back into the 80s-70s a bit in one corner of the fashion world, and in the other, i think we'll start to see fashion go really industrial, utilising tech into clothing :)
No, like having a generic google image search picture of Jesus, random crosses all over, and/or a word with religious connotation (like “faith” or “blessed”) big as shit printed on it. Several on here have posted clothing with one or two or all of the above and said they’re “Christian streetwear” and it always looks cheap as shit.
Worst trend is streetwear fans lmao. So picky bout everything and act like they know what’s best and hate on trends just for them to end up being trend hoppers themselves
Everything is cool until it’s “the worst”.
Everyone’s answers are from where they are on that timeline for that style.
Everyone is right and everyone is wrong.
My answer :
If someone asks a question like this, they’re the ones wearing the cringy thing
Sick of seeing people use graphics from a show or cartoon and changing it slightly to be "their own". It's lazy and they're relying on something that's already been made instead of their own creativity.
I get what your saying but honestly asking, doesn't it benefit you to get more things to print, since you can charge more, or do you charge similar prices for prints and some are way harder than others

People being unoriginal Just copying what’s hot at the minute
Religion.
Religious/Christian “streetwear” brands. Jesus would be very disappointed in all of that garbage.
Like Fear of God?

True, but that would be true for any brand that does the same low effort trash.
Yeah. Low effort trash is low effort trash regardless of how they try to dress it up.
it’s just funnier because of all of the double standards in and around christianity (and religion itself)
Any brand that avoids vowels.

It depends on what you mean. I've seen some decent stuff that are definitely cropped but you just have to be able to style it
[удалено]
Yea that just depends then, some cropped tees can be way more cropped than it should but I see what you mean
Football players in the 70s wore very cropped jerseys. I had a Niners cropped jersey, but I'm not a guy.
It’s been fashionable in the 70’s & 80’s. When guys were a bit more fluid in their dress. Died off in the 90’s
the current sunshine sally shit with puff print/sweatsuit garbage for “mental health”
The bape zip ups, always cringed at them

using "club" in the brand name. i think i've seen 1,000 brands on here called the ____ club. it's super tired atp

It’s hard to look back on 2015-2017 streetwear and those are the years that i really started to get into it lmao
I hate really fake sunfades. Anything printed on that shit looks awful
