Not to mention, wasn't that also the nobody who people voted for Cambodia over legend Shane Powers???
Edit: Yes, I know I fucked up, y'all can stop downvoting this now, lmao.
Oh right, I had forgotten that. I'm not sure how I got it in my head that it was between him and Monica. I feel like the ballot or something showed them next to each other or something?
Glad to know I've been irrationally hating on Monica all this time. š¤£
Iām guessing itās because she released a video of her running around in a buff and swimsuit around NYC (I think thatās where it was) as part of her campaign
This is so painful to agree with when Cirie is literally my favorite player. It's like I have to actively remind myself now that she's on HVV or I'll forget. Especially when HVV is one of my most rewatched seasons. š«
I donāt know why, but sometimes I just conflate & blend the Second Chances & Game Changers casts with the seasons/contestants around it.
Part of me thinks Aubry was on SC, but that just wouldnāt be possible. Often I think Spencer and Tashaās SC games were actually on Game Changers. Iām sure itās partly contributed to people like Varner, Ciera, etc. coming straight back & the onslaught of WA & Koah Rang, but I donāt know.
I know it doesnāt make sense, but that time of 2015-2017 for Survivor just felt like *a lot* (not inherently in a bad way).
I know what you mean. I think we were feeling the end of the "renaissance era" of Survivor that started around S25-27. I think the growing presence of idols, advantages, twists, and silly themed seasons were giving the impression that the show was losing its identity, which was only reinforced by some bad vibes seasons like Kaoh Rong and Game Changers.
I also remember Kaoh Rong in particular bringing really bad vibes into this subreddit. The weird edgic vs. anti-edgic divide in how people took in that season just made this environment a really sour place a lot of the time.
It was a lot.
I just watched the first 2 episodes of Philippines for the first time in a few years and I donāt even remember Artis nor Katie/Dawson/Dana. I remembered all of Matsing and the rest of Tandang besides Artis, but the women of Kalabaw were all rather forgetful.
I love Philippines, but the editing is REALLY lopsided lol. They had time for Matsing, the other 2 returnees, the 2 celebrities, and RC and Abi's ridiculous feud, and that is IT! Every other player only seems to appear on their boot episode.
I forget a lot of the jury members of random seasons until the final episode where they ask a question and Iām like ohhh right they were a thing then I forget about them again
I seem to remember Jonny Fairplay being on one of Micronesia or HVV, but never both.
Edit: Apparently my memory was technically correct. I hallucinated him leaving HVV as first boot too.
Game Changers is the one for me too. I always forget that Sierra played twice. And that Aubrey and Cierra played 3 times. Idk what it is about that season
Ciera on Game Changers
Woo on Cambodia
Jeanne on Amazon (rewatching now and she was much better than I remembered)
Yau-Man on Micronesia
Carl on Africa
Colby on All Stars
Rachel on Blood vs Water
Yul on WaW
Joe on EoE
Nadiya on SJDS
Nicole on Pearl Islands
All the attractive men on Vanuatu and like half of Ulong on Palau
And I really canāt name most of the casts after SJDS
I literally never noticed bobby john while watching palau and he jump scared me as a "returnee" on guatemala. when he jumped out of the jungle with stephanie (who i knew very well) i was so confused
How? Lol. Did you black out for the first 8 episodes? He averaged the second most confessionals per episode for the season, second only to Stephanie. He's 5th in total confessionals despite missing 6 episodes.
Everyone is memorable. If they're under the radar and kind of forgotten about, that's a reason why they're memorable (Like Monica in 31). I don't know who would be the most average player that I'd probably say "Oh yeah that person played then" for.
Ami on Micronesia
Ami for S50 and I am so serious
Her purple edit hurts
Monica on Cambodia
I literally was like "Monica Culepepper was on Cambodia?"
Lmao nah the one from somoa
Not to mention, wasn't that also the nobody who people voted for Cambodia over legend Shane Powers??? Edit: Yes, I know I fucked up, y'all can stop downvoting this now, lmao.
No because then the gender ratio would be wrong. It would have to be one of the guys who was voted in over him.
Oh right, I had forgotten that. I'm not sure how I got it in my head that it was between him and Monica. I feel like the ballot or something showed them next to each other or something? Glad to know I've been irrationally hating on Monica all this time. š¤£
She was the one who took T-Birdās spot tho, so maybe not quite irrational hatred lol.
Oh lmao, maybe that's what I was misremembering. š¤£
Iām guessing itās because she released a video of her running around in a buff and swimsuit around NYC (I think thatās where it was) as part of her campaign
I'm sure Shane would have gladly done the same if he heard it would help his cause.
Shane couldn't have been picked over Monica as the gender ratios wouldn't have matched.
Yes crazy right shouldāve been shane
Ami and Yau-Man on Micronesia
Monica Culpeper on One World, her debut season
Ozzy on Game changers
Literally thought this was a joke answer at first. I guess this wins for me.Ā
I need to rewatch this season. Seems like a fever dream with all the most random people together
Apparently I have also forgotten.
Cirie on HVV
This is so painful to agree with when Cirie is literally my favorite player. It's like I have to actively remind myself now that she's on HVV or I'll forget. Especially when HVV is one of my most rewatched seasons. š«
This is the one
I remember her more for Tom's move than anything else.
Tomorrow we make our apologies, tonight we make our move
I feel like if Steph hadn't gotten injured, or if JT had stayed flipped to take out James...he could have gone far.
Same
Johnny Fairplay on Micronesia
Mary on Micronesia.
Who?
Mary. Donāt ask any questions.
Where did Mary come from?
Didnāt really know mary
Caleb on game changers.
I think the only real reason I remember Caleb on his original season is because of his being on the brink of death.
Aras on BvW
Best one Iāve read so far
Other than players I forget because theyāre forgettable one time players, I always forget Randy was on HvV.
troyzan on game changers
WHAT! Troyzan wasnāt on Game Changers!!!
he definitely was I just watched the first episode last night
That one is so funny he was a finalist, most of the other ones here were early boots.
Rupert on Blood vs Water
I just watched the first 2 episodes of Philippines for the first time in a few years and I donāt even remember Artis nor Katie/Dawson/Dana. I remembered all of Matsing and the rest of Tandang besides Artis, but the women of Kalabaw were all rather forgetful.

Ozzy on Game Changers and Stephenie on Heroes vs Villains
Lindsay on 43
I'll be honest, I never understood the hype around her. She's forgettable to me too.
I heard Omar mentioned Lindsay name on a podcast and I had to look up who she is. I totally forgot she ever been part of that season.
I already forgot that one siga from last season.
Jem?
No. The other one.
Moriah?
There it is. Thankyou.
I only remember because I got shitty draft picks in my fantasy league this season and she was on my team š š
He was on Micronesia
Oh my God.š¤¦š»āāļø
I always forget Wentworth was in San Juan del sir
Shirin on Cambodia
That Bobby-Jon is a returnee and was on Guatemala lol
Tony in Game Changers
Ciera on Cambodia
Ciera on *Game Changers*, too.
Game Changers is the one for me too. I always forget that Sierra played twice. And that Aubrey and Cierra played 3 times. Idk what it is about that season
Did you know there was a Chelsea on Island of the Idols? And she left with an idol?
Chelsea from southern charm?
I always think "Man I'd love to see Peih-Gee return" and then half a second later I'm like, "oh right"
Caleb, Ciera, Ozzy, and Tony on gamechangers
Ozzy on game changers lmfao
Dawn in South Pacific
Angela on Ghost Island
Every pre merge boot on Cambodia. Even though a lot of them were some of my favorites.
Ozzy on game changers.
Ciera on Game Changers Woo on Cambodia Jeanne on Amazon (rewatching now and she was much better than I remembered) Yau-Man on Micronesia Carl on Africa Colby on All Stars Rachel on Blood vs Water Yul on WaW Joe on EoE Nadiya on SJDS Nicole on Pearl Islands All the attractive men on Vanuatu and like half of Ulong on Palau And I really canāt name most of the casts after SJDS
Troyzan was on that same Game Changers season
Jeremy on David vs Goliath
I just finished that season less than a week ago and in my head I went āthere was a Jeremy???āwhen I read your comment
Ciera on Game Changers
Iām l
I often forget Wigglesworth was on Cambodia
Russell on Samoa
He definitely could've used a few more confessionals. Felt like we barely got to hear from him.
Exactlyā¦ super utr
A few that I forget are Bi from DvG, Makayla from South Pacific, Jay from One World, and Anna from KaĆ“h RÅng
Im sorry my beloved routine size 69, every white buff guy on survivor is the same person to me
This entire last season of players
Youāre getting downvoted but in 2 years Q will be the only one remembered. Besides Kenzie ofc. Good season but not many memorable players
Everyone is memorable. If they're under the radar and kind of forgotten about, that's a reason why they're memorable (Like Monica in 31). I don't know who would be the most average player that I'd probably say "Oh yeah that person played then" for.

How on earth did you forget two Finalists? I can kind of understand Cassandra, but Gervase was Tyson's right-hand man.
