People polled, by a substantial margin, believe Trump wins on the economy, although I'm not entirely sure what he will actually do because Trump is mostly bluster and not much substance. Biden's response has been to gaslight us by telling us we're wrong about the state of the economy and inflation (in politics, if your response is to tell a majority of people their wrong.....even if they are, you're wrong). I've told many in my circle, back in January, that if the economy did not show signs of improving within 6 months (by now), Trump would win. I said 6 months, because that gives people time to truly feel those signs in the places it matters most (rent, groceries, fuel, etc.).
What America (and probably some of the world) saw last night was terrible. Aside from addressing the issues (which neither really did with much substance), we saw our current leader look inept, while (again) his administration has been gaslighting us about "cheapfakes", telling us we're not seeing what we see in Biden. The worst part is that our allies saw that, and suffer a lack of confidence, but on the other hand our enemies also saw that and can become emboldened over the next 6 months.
I live in Canada and love my country and I am scared of Trump waging wars on their neighbours or on more militarily powerful countries that we will have to stand up to, by association. If Biden wins, I don't care that he is a slow talker or if he forgets what he's saying. He is a man of good action. Not of words. He doesn't want war or power.
