Of course while looking for my own name I also considered Jacqueline because its name meaning is usurper and come on, that is a cool meaning and thematic as you are usurping your previous identity with the real more authentic you
There is the classic picking the feminine form of your dead name
You could figure out why you were given your dead name and find a feminine equivalent (for example go from named after grandpa to named after grandma)
Or you could name yourself after someone you admire(you might get social brownie points if it's someone you know personally just know that confusion might happen when you are around each other)

Are there any letters or sounds that you'd like for the start of your name?
Do you like something soft and an "m" or "n"?
Or maybe something sharper like a "k" or "t"?
Maybe a smooth "s" or "sh" sound?
Even if you can't decide, I'm sure you can start by eliminating sounds you don't like, right?
what about the ending?
maybe you like the "y" sound that a lot of names end with?Â
Or what about a "th" end like judith?
Something that ends in an "a"?
If you can narrow it down with a beginning and end, it would make things much easier.
