Nah Dagestan is far and away more widely known for producing wrestlers for olympic wrestling, like they literally have so many wrestlers that they often compete on other national teams in order to have a chance to get medals usually competing in countries like Turkey and Azerbaijan.
It's not just about the level of your coach, it's about Immersion and the moral values you could learn besides technique. Getting in an environment without much distractions and adding high level hard training to that has nothing to do with having an accomplished dad, if that was the only factor btw most sons of sport stars would be star themselves ... And well it's almost never the case.
