That’d be a lot of fun for $30. Complete and clean? With cabinet and remote? Shit yeah man.

Slapdeznutzoffyochin

Old rack system Will play music

Riansettles

I’d make it a garage/shop system in a second for $30.

steroboros

For 30 bucks you get a lot of miles from the reciver and speakers alone. Find a decent technics direct drive turntable and you'll be set

wayne63

Priced about right.

switch4fun3012

Great deal. Buy it.

noldshit

$30? Take my money

asbestoswasframed

For $30 that's a steal. You can absolutely build a system starting with those older Technics matched component systems. The amps were usually 100wpc+ and pretty clean sounding. The tower speakers are passable (some are better than others). Those little ones are pretty decent for surrounds.

Summer184

I had the chance to buy a very similar Technics system, in the cabinet just like that one for $55 (but didn't include speakers) and I hate that I passed it up. I'd drop $30 on that and take it home before they change their mind.

jimmyl_82104

The amp is the real performer here, those 90s era Technics amps were built very nicely! CD changer, tape deck and tuner are decent. Speakers aren't amazing, but are good for parties. The rack and equipment inside are definitely worth $30! I'd just get some better speakers eventually.

2BR_0_2B

Not bad at all!

Choice_Student4910

Nice garage system

Curiousyoders19

Good deal

ardscd

Great deal! Don't hesitate.

superbee4406

These stereo systems used to be a dime a dozen. Not anymore.

sabbathian

Deal of a century! Take it!

NewMexicoJoe

I think it’s a Dolby ProLogic system, and has a decent 5 CD changer as well. Probably would have sold for $900-1000 in 1994-1995. If you have room for it, go for it.

Banthegame

If you only have 30$ for a stereo system I'd say go for it! You could do much, much worst.

Up_All_Nite

That set in 1985 cost at least 3500 Marlboro Miles. I'm still saving up.

Astrocities

Technics isn’t known for their speakers, but the rest of the system oughta be pretty darn good for $30. … But not for $60.

evilgreenman

The most useful piece in that is the amp/receiver

WarmObjective6445

Heck, when you upgrade that rack cabinet is worth $30.00

BougieHole

It can all be yours, if the Price is Right.

blamemeididit

Leave it there.
